Even the cheapest hotels will earn you Hyatt points, and cheap stays will help you get to the next level of loyalty status. If you want the best Hyatt deal in America, you will probably want to pick MGM Resorts in Las Vegas. If you are chasing Hyatt promotions or status, these are some of the cheapest hotels you can book on Hyatt.com in America.
1. Rio Hotel & Casino
The cheapest Hyatt in Las Vegas is Rio Hotel & Casino which costs $102 USD per night in July.

Hyatt category one hotels are almost exclusively the Hyatt Place and Hyatt House budget brands, however, the Hyatt Regency Rochester is one of the best Hyatt Regency hotels hotels in this Hyatt category, which means you can redeem points at this hotel at the cheapest category one redemption rate.
While not positioned as a resort destination, this establishment offers exceptional value and serves as a solid option for accommodations in Rochester. Featuring a pool, though reportedly a bit chilly during winter months, it remains an attractive choice for travelers seeking affordability and convenience in the area.
Nestled along the scenic Genesee River, the recently renovated Hyatt Regency Rochester stands as the premier upscale hotel in the Finger Lakes Area and Upstate New York. 8. Hyatt Regency Birmingham – The Wynfrey Hotel
Next up is the Hyatt Regency Birmingham – The Wynfrey Hotel in Alabama. At $110 USD per night, it is cheap, and the location, connected to the Riverchase Galleria Mall, means that it is also good for shopping.

This former Wynfrey Hotel in Birmingham blends traditional Southern hospitality with all the modern conveniences of home. 9. Hyatt Regency Lisle near Naperville
Hyatt Regency Lisle near Naperville is a great cheap Hyatt in Illinois, United States. Naperville is in the suburbs of Chicago and is your cheapest Hyatt hotel in Chicago at $113 USD per night. Bear in mind that the Hyatt Regency Schaumburg, Chicago, is only a little more expensive at $118 USD per night, and check both hotels out before you book.

10. Hyatt Regency Atlanta
We have actually compared the Hyatt Regency Atlanta vs. the Grand Hyatt and this hotel also features in our best club lounges in Atlanta. With so many accolades, this hotel is a great choice in Atlanta, and in October, can be as cheap as $116 USD per night.
The Hyatt Regency offers a downtown experience and is close to Marta, which is useful to get to and from the airport. That said, once the working day has come to an end, Atlanta’s Downtown tends to clear out and become a bit dead, making this location very quiet for the evening. It is, however, a handy location for Olympic Park, the aquarium, and Coke World. Buckhead, where the Grand Hyatt is located, is much better for restaurants and shopping.
The hotel itself is a John Portman with a Polaris lounge in the “UFO” at the top of the building. All rooms feature separate living and work areas, with views including the Atlanta skyline or the inviting pool. The Deluxe Suite offers two balconies with city views, a dining table and bar, a living room, and other amenities. For food, there is a very good Gladys & Ron’s Chicken & Waffle a few blocks away.
11. Hyatt Regency Buffalo Hotel and Conference Center
At last, a cheap Hyatt in New York at just $117 USD per night! The Hyatt Regency Buffalo Hotel and Conference Center tend to be your cheapest Hyatt hotel in New York. Stay steps from the Buffalo Niagara Convention Center at this full-service hotel in downtown Buffalo. Hyatt Regency Buffalo is the hotel destination in Upstate New York for work and play, with direct conference center access, a spa, and a rooftop pool. Stay within walking distance from the waterfront, KeyBank Center, and Shea’s Buffalo Theatre.
12. Hyatt Regency Schaumburg, Chicago
Hyatt Regency Schaumburg, Chicago, takes up position twelve in our investigation of the cheapest Hyatts in the USA. Obviously, the price of all the above-mentioned hotels will vary according to the dates you look at, but for our dates in October, this Hyatt hotel costs just $118 USD per night.
Other cheap Hyatts in America in October include Hyatt Regency Princeton, costing $122 USD per night, The Elms Hotel & Spa, Missouri, near shopping & Siloam Mountain Park for $124 USD per night, Hyatt Regency North Dallas and Hyatt Regency Houston, both for $127 USD per night. Hyatt Regency Long Island is another cheap Hyatt in the state of New York at $136 USD per night and over on the West Coast. Hyatt Regency John Wayne Airport, Newport Beach, is your cheapest Californian hotel at $140 USD per night.
While the Long Island Hyatt is cheap, it is not a good option for downtown New York. While we love the Grand Hyatt, which has one of the best club lounges in New York, Hyatt Herald Square New York is your cheapest Hyatt in the center and usually costs from $170 USD per night.
Hyatt Regency Lake Tahoe Resort, Spa and Casino is a great cheap Hyatt if you want to spa or ski in Nevada (although the skiing option is unlikely in October!) at $144 USD per night. Hyatt Regency Orange County is another cheap Hyatt in California and is ideally located close to Disneyland & Angel Stadium of Anaheim for a family vacation.
In Florida, two of your cheapest Hyatt hotels are Hyatt Regency Coral Gables, a Spanish-style resort on the edge of Miami, and Grand Hyatt Tampa Bay on a 35-acre nature preserve, 8 miles from downtown Tampa and 3 miles from Tampa International Airport. Both of these hotels come in at $153 USD in October. I personally rather like the Hyatt Centric South Beach Miami, which is stylish, well located, and cheap by Miami standards at $153 USD per night.
If you are heading to San Francisco, the cheapest Hyatt hotel near this wonderful city is the Hyatt Regency San Francisco Airport at $155 USD per night, but bear in mind that this is not the best Hyatt in San Francisco.
The second cheapest Hyatt for skiing is Grand Hyatt Vail, but do bear in mind that our price of $158 USD per room per night for this luxury ski-in / ski-out resort at the base of Vail Mountain is priced before the ski season opens, so you will not be able to ski at this time of the year. You can, however, take a cheap break and enjoy the mountain Spa.
In Los Angeles itself, Hyatt Regency Los Angeles International Airport is cheap at around $162 USD per night.
The final cheap Hyatt hotels worth mentioning are the Hyatts in Orlando, which have access to Disneyland and Universal Studios. Hyatt Regency Orlando International Airport is your cheapest Hyatt in this region, but it is not very exciting at $171 USD per night. It is actually in the main airport terminal, so you can’t miss it, and it’s 12 miles from downtown Orlando. This hotel is not particularly convenient for Disney or Universal, but it is cheap.
Cheapest Hyatt Hotels In Asia
Hotels in Asia, outside the major cities of Singapore, Hong Kong, Bangkok, Tokyo, etc., tend to be very cheap when compared to America. Hyatt Regency Yogyakarta in Indonesia is one of the cheapest Hyatt hotels in Asia at $60 USD per night.
If you are not keen on this location for a holiday, why not try the Hyatt Regency Bali, a magnificent beachfront resort in the heart of Bali, Sanur, and 35 minutes away from Ngurah Rai International Airport. The Hyatt Regency Bali costs just $124 USD per night in October. An amazing choice for such a great Hyatt Regency.
The Grand Hyatt Bali is another beachfront Hyatt that is super cheap at just $124 USD per night. This beachfront hotel is located in Bali’s most exclusive neighborhood Nusa Dua. This Hyatt also has one of the best club lounges on Bali. Grand Hyatt Bali is located in Nusa Dua on the southernmost tip of Bali, with beaches on both sides of the resort. This hotel offers great value on paid stays, and if you book through our luxury travel concierge we can get you some brilliant additional free benefits at this Hyatt for no extra cost.
If you are a Globalist World of Hyatt member, you can expect a nice upgrade at this hotel, and while the rooms are typical Asian Hyatt, which is a good version of American Hyatt’s, the bathrooms at this Hyatt are truly stunning and massive, in the suites with masses of cream marble and a separate shower and tub.
The resort itself is edged by the most glorious golden sand, enjoying stunning sunrises with numerous pools, some aimed at families, with others being more adult-orientated. One has a kid’s waterslide, which will attract your kids.
Club rooms have their own building situated by the Club lounge and with a private Club pool. The Grand Club is open-air and designed to look like a Balinese house with straw roofing with breakfast and cocktail hours along with all-day snacks and drinks.
The club lounge here is well worth the upgrade, even if you are booking on points and have to pay for it. This Grand Hyatt is a bargain at 12,000 points per night, and although there is not much to do in the immediate vicinity, this hotel is a magical place to stay.
Thailand is another great beach destination with cheap Hyatt hotels. Hyatt Place Phuket Patong, Phuket, is usually the cheapest Hyatt in Thailand from around ฿1,260 THB ($42 USD) per night. Hyatt Place Bangkok Sukhumvit is your cheapest Hyatt in Bangkok from ฿2,366 THB ($78 USD) per night, Hyatt Regency Phuket Resort, Hyatt Regency Hua Hin, a beachfront hotel spanning 16 acres, Hyatt Regency Bangkok Sukhumvit, Grand Hyatt Erawan Bangkok, and even the Park Hyatt Bangkok is cheap for a Park Hyatt hotel at ฿10,200 THB ($333 USD) per night.
Hyatts in India also tend to be very cheap, but many of them are in cities rather than offer a pretty beach destination for a trip away.
Cheapest Hyatt In South America
There are many Hyatts in South America that are cheap. One such example is the Hyatt Place Managua at $108 USD per night. While we have not focused on all the cheap Hyatts in South America, it is worth focusing on the Hyatt Place hotels across this continent to pick up the cheapest deals.
Cheapest Hyatt In Europe
There are two very cheap Hyatt hotels on the outskirts of London; Hyatt Place West in Haynes, London, around 11 miles from the center, and Hyatt Place London Heathrow Airport, convenient for the airport. On our October dates, these were £56 GBP and £72 GBP, respectively. In central London, your cheapest Hyatt is Andaz London Liverpool Street, a historic East End hotel with Shoreditch & London Bridge at its doorstep from £187 GBP per night.
In Paris, the Hyatt Regency Paris at Charles de Gaulle airport is your cheapest Hyatt at around €127 EUR per night. It is 11.9 miles from the center and quite convenient for EuroDisney. In the center, your cheapest Hyatt is the Hyatt Regency Paris Étoile, which starts at around €164 EUR per night.
Cheapest Hyatt In The Middle East
Usually, one of the cheapest Hyatt hotels in the Middle East is the Andaz Capital Gate Abu Dhabi, only 15 minutes away from the airport and most key attractions and adjacent to ADNEC. This impressive 18º leaning design stands tall, and the hotel part of the building begins on the 18th floor.
The location of the Andaz Capital Gate is fairly unusual in that pretty much everything is within a 15-20 minute taxi ride, but there is really nothing at all in the immediate vicinity. It is actually located about halfway from both the city center of Abu Dhabi and the airport. It’s also a stone’s throw from Grand Mosque, arguably the most important tourist spot in Abu Dhabi because it’s the largest mosque in the world.
The pool area is not huge but adequate for the size of the hotel, and it is on the 19th floor of the building. There are a few sunchairs set out, and there is a nice sunset view from the pool area.
And what is the most Expensive Hyatt Hotel?
It has to be one of the exclusive Park Hyatt hotels. Park Hyatt Maldives Hadahaa Republic of Maldives, Park Hyatt New York, Park Hyatt St. Kitts Saint Kitts, and Nevis will set you back around $1,000 USD per night. The most expensive Andaz is probably the Andaz Maui, which is one of the best Hyatts in Hawaii, with the Hawaiian Grand and the Regency also some of the most expensive within these brands. Even the Waikiki Hyatts are eyewatering, although these Hawaii Hyatts are cheapest, but then, Hawaii is paradise. You get what you pay for!
Cheaper Status In World Of Hyatt Loyalty Scheme
You may be wondering about the advantages of booking a cheap Hyatt at all. One of the reasons to book into a cheap Hyatt is to boost your status in the World Of Hyatt loyalty scheme. Whether you are a Hyatt Discoverist, Hyatt Explorist, or an elite Hyatt Globalist, you will want to hit the next level of loyalty, and sometimes a mattress run at a cheap Hyatt will help you hit your targets.
Globalist status is the top tier, which is typically earned after 60 nights or 100,000 base points ($20,000 USD in spending), so if you can complete your 60 nights at a really cheap Hyatt, this will make achieving Globalist status cheaper.
Hyatt Globalists get many valuable perks, including complimentary breakfast at properties like the Andaz Maui. Of course, if you book the Andaz Maui via our concierge, you will also get daily full breakfast for 2 per room as well as other Globalist perks like a welcome amenity $100 USD property credit per stay. Early check-in / late check-out and room upgrades are available on request (subject to availability), so you don’t need any status at all to get these benefits if you book your stay with us.
But there are some perks that Globalists get that we can’t match. These include a 30% points bonus on stays, giving you an additional 1.5 points per dollar spent. One of the Globalist members’ favorite perks is the Suite Upgrade Awards. You earn two of these at 50 elite-qualifying nights (or 80,000 base points) and another two upon reaching 60 nights (or 100,000 base points) and earning Globalist status. Rather than hoping for an upgrade at check-in, these certificates give you suite confirmation at the time of booking for up to seven nights. These suite upgrade awards can be used on paid stays and standard award stays (including Points + Cash reservations).
Another favorite perk for the Globalist member is free club lounge access and/or free breakfast, which includes complimentary full breakfast for each registered guest (up to 2 adults and 2 children) in the hotel’s restaurant, and club lounge also with free breakfast, snacks and soft drinks throughout the day plus a light meal in the evening and complimentary alcohol at some American Hyatts and most Hyatts outside America. Having access to one of these club lounges will enable you to make a major saving on your stay as you often don’t need to eat or drink out at all. It is almost like your Hyatt has become an all-inclusive if you have club lounge access.
Globalists also avoid resort fees. All World of Hyatt members (including those without elite status) don’t have to pay resort fees on award stays. However, the new program waives resort fees for Globalist members on all stays (excluding Residence Club properties and M life resorts). This is a significant saving on vacation destinations like Hawaii or the Caribbean, where these fees are very common and expensive.
