Which is the best airline to fly from Europe to Asia in Business Class? I have picked Qatar Airlines for their new First style Business Class suite (pictured above), Etihad Airlines, Emirates, Singapore Airlines, and Cathay Pacific.

Long-haul Business Class flights represent only 15% of long-haul seats globally, but this is the most lucrative airline cabin.

The Middle Eastern carriers tend to offer the best Business Class and are my top choices. These include Qatar, which has recently introduced a First Class on their A380 (with onboard shower!).

Singapore Airlines is exceptional and comes in 4th on my list. The airline offers the widest Business Class seats in the world, with direct aisle access in a 1-2-1 forward-facing cabin layout. The food is restaurant-style and specially created by celebrated chefs.

If you are traveling into Japan, Japan Airlines is a good choice with their excellent JAL Sky Suites or pods, and if you are traveling out of the UK, British Airways Club World is always convenient for the sheer number of flights that go to Asia from the UK and also for their excellent British Airways airport lounges.

Members of Luxury Travel Diary have flown with Cathay Pacific a number of times and have reviewed their long-haul flights in First, Business Class, and most recently, Premium Economy. My trip reports can be found below. Cathay Pacific also features in the top 10 best business class airlines in the world. Locating the most appropriate Cathay Pacific lounge within Terminal 1 can be quite a challenge and somewhat confusing, as the airline operates a number of lounges at its hub (7 in total), all with different names (e.g., The Wing, The Pier, The Bridge, and The Cabin).
