British Airways and Virgin Atlantic are the two main British airlines that fly from North America to Europe, between New York and London, along with several other American cities. Both airlines feature in my top 10 best airlines for long-haul Business Class and I have also compared them directly in my best transatlantic airline for Business: British Airways Vs Virgin Atlantic. In a nutshell, when comparing Virgin’s Upper Class to British Airways Club Class, Upper Class wins in almost every respect. The Clubhouse lounge is fun and has better food than BA’s Galleries lounges. If you want privacy and direct aisle access, Virgin also wins. Although it is worth re-highlighting that if you are traveling in a couple or as a family, you will probably prefer the layout in British Airways, assuming you want to see your family or other half! Virgin’s onboard food offering is more generous, the seat is more comfortable for sleeping, and it has an onboard bar.

Below you will find my most recent flight reviews on British Airways in First, Business Class or Club Class and Premium Economy; you can draw your own conclusions.

In this trip report, I review my flight on British Airways A380 in Business Class, HKG, To LHR. In the middle of January, I had to go to London for a business trip. For this trip, due to scheduling, I took the night flight for British Airways, BA 32, which left Hong Kong at 11:10 pm at night and arrived at London Heathrow at 5:10 am. After getting to the airport and resting in the lounge, I boarded the plane around 10:50 pm. For this flight, I chose seat 50A on the upper deck. For the A380 upper deck, British Airways Business Class features 7 seats in a row, arranged in a 2-3-2 format.

I flew First Class On The British Airways Dreamliner B787-9 from London’s Heathrow Airport (LHR) to Muscat International Airport (MCT) in Oman. The BA flight from London to Muscat is not direct, as the plane makes a short, scheduled stop-over of around one hour in Abu Dhabi, where some passengers get off and new ones on. Those with Muscat as the final destination don’t need to get off in Abu Dhabi. The cabin crew also remains on the plane during the process (they have their layover in Muscat) while the flight crew changes in Abu Dhabi.

In this trip report, I review my flight on British Airways in Business Class or Club World on the Upper Deck of a Boeing 747 Jumbo plane. In the middle of May, I decided to switch up my usual direct route from JFK to Hong Kong to go through London via British Airways. While the journey involved a stopover and many more hours on the plane, I was not rushing for this trip. More importantly, the inner aviation geek in me could not resist the opportunity to try out the upper deck of the Queen of the Skies, the Boeing 747-400.

In this trip report, I review Club World, British Airway's business class, on their B777-200 from London Heathrow (LHR) Terminal 5 to Tehran, which I flew in October 2016. The business class product that BA offers is pretty much identical across its fleet and we've already reviewed business class or Club World on the Dreamliner B787-9, and on BA's 777.

I flew Business Class, or Club World, in a British Airways Boeing 777-300ER (B77W) from Tokyo’s Haneda Airport (HND) in Japan to London Heathrow. Compared to the B777-200ER, the B777-300ER (or B77W) is a more technologically advanced aircraft, with raked and extended wingtips, a strengthened fuselage and wings, a modified main landing gear, and GE90-115B turbofans, the world’s most powerful jet engine.

In this review, I share my experience of Business Class on a British Airways Airbus A380 of British Airways from London Heathrow (LHR) to Los Angeles (LAX). British Airways will kickstart a business class refit of its Boeing 777 fleet over the next three years but doesn't plan for the Airbus A380 to see the new Club Suites until 2023, so if you fly the British Airways A380, this is the Business Class experience you will currently find onboard. The Airbus A380 is a giant.

In this trip report, we review Club World, British Airway's Business Class, on an A380 from Los Angeles (LAX) to London Heathrow (LHR), flown in October 2016. We previously reviewed LHR to LAX on the A380. The Airbus A380 is the world's largest commercial passenger aircraft and is famous for being a "double-decker" with the upper deck extending along the entire length of the fuselage. It is also impressively green, with the lowest emissions per passenger of any large aircraft, and is 50% quieter than the Boeing 747-400 range.

You can also read the outward review on the British Airways A380 from London Heathrow (LHR) to Vancouver (YVR). Both were flown in September 2016. The Dreamliner is the latest aircraft type to join BA’s fleet. At the time of writing, eight B787-8 Dreamliners had been delivered to BA, in addition to fourteen B787-9 Dreamliners.

In this review, I review British Airway’s World Traveller Plus, also known as Premium Economy, on their new Boeing 787-900 Dreamliner on my trip from Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, to London. This product was newly launched a few months before, and I was eager to try it. We have also reviewed First Class On The British Airways Dreamliner B787-9 as well as Business Class on the B747 Jumbo and Business Class on the B777. The Premium Economy cabin is located right behind the Business Class cabin. There are a total of 6 rows of seats.

In this trip report, I review short-haul Club Europe or Business Class on my flight within Europe on an Airbus A320 from London Heathrow to Nice. British Airways offers a fairly consistent Business Class offering throughout Europe which means that whatever your destination within Europe is; if you are traveling in Club Europe; your experience will be similar to the below. The seating in BA Club Europe on their Airbus A320 is pretty tightly packed in a 2x2 arrangement in front of the BA Economy Class cabin.
