Luxury Travel Diary’s writers have flown Singapore Airlines many times and reviewed their long-haul Business Class flights. Our trip reports can be found below.
Singapore Airlines has a prestigious reputation, offering great service, delicious food, excellent in-flight entertainment, and the always smiling Singapore air hostess. Singapore Airlines currently has 13 A350-900 aircraft in its fleet, with another 56 on order, including seven ultra-long-haul A350-900ULR variants. The latter will be used on the Singapore Airlines routes from Singapore to Los Angeles and New York, which – when launched in 2018 – will be the longest flights in the world. The new SQ A350 experience (pictured above) lived up to expectations. The only thing lacking was an amenity kit, possibly a tail camera, and I could have done with a slightly more comfortable flatbed.
Singapore Airlines features in our list of the best airlines for long haul Business Class.
If you travel in Business Class from Singapore Airport, it is likely that you will be invited to use the Silverkris Lounge at Changi airport, which we reviewed separately.
Below you will find recent flight reviews on Singapore Airlines in Business Class; you can draw your own conclusions.
Singapore Airlines Business Class Reviews

Flight Review: Singapore Airlines A330 Business Class, KUL to SIN
In November, I was booked into Singapore Airlines for a very short flight from Kuala Lumpur to Singapore. For this 50-minute flight, I was lucky enough to be placed on Singapore Airlines’ A330 Business Class. I boarded this morning's flight shortly after the boarding process began. The A330 flight between Kuala Lumpur and Singapore has 30 Business Class seats in 5 rows of 2-2-2 configuration, as well as 255 economy class seats in a 2-4-2 configuration. For this flight, I was seated on the last row of Business, at seat 16A, which is the window seat on the left.
