The hotels in Maui are split into three main resort areas: Wailea, Kapalua, and Kaanapali Beach. Each resort area contains hotels with club lounges, and we have outlined the best club lounges in Maui below.
There are only two hotels with club lounges in Wailea, our favorite resort area in Maui, the Four Seasons Maui and the Grand Wailea. The Fairmont Kea Lani does not have a club lounge, the Wailea beach resort by Marriott does not have a club lounge and the Andaz in Wailea does not have a club lounge either.
If you are looking for an excellent club lounge on Maui, we would highly reccomend the club lounge at Four Seasons Maui and the club lounge at the Ritz-Carlton Maui. These are the best best club lounges in Hawaii and are exceptional.

Which hotels in Hawaii offer the best executive club level lounges? We review lounges across Oahu, including Waikiki, Maui, Kaanapali, Kapalua, Wailea, Kauai, Poipu, and Hanalei, and the Big Island's picturesque Kona-Kohala coast. I have compiled a list below containing the best club lounges available across the best luxury hotels in Hawaii. I list the ones I consider to be the best at the top. I review each of these hotel club lounges in detail so you know what you will get if you book a room with club lounge access.
Book any of the hotels featured below via our luxury travel concierge for extra benefits and perks, including free breakfast, resort credit, and a prioritized room upgrade. Our benefits are so good you may feel they negate the need for a club lounge.
Our choices for the best executive club lounges in Maui are all listed below.
1. Four Seasons Maui
Four Seasons Maui is a fabulous hotel with the best club lounge in Hawaii. The Club lounge at Four Seasons Maui is only available to guests staying on the Club Floor at Four Seasons Maui.
This exclusive Club Lounge offers a private, relaxing space to enjoy breakfast and unwind with afternoon tea or evening cocktails while a dedicated staff and concierge team are on hand to cater to every need. We have reviewed how to get the best discount at all Four Seasons hotels previously. The same tips are relevant for booking Club Level rooms at Four Seasons Maui.
Club Level rooms have ocean views and are on the eighth floor. When you book these rooms, you get a private key enabling you to access the exclusive Club Lounge. There are only 22 rooms, plus 3 Ocean Front One Bedroom Suites and 1 Deluxe Ocean View Executive Suite on the Club Level, so guest numbers with access to this lounge are very small.
You need to book the Ocean View or Deluxe Ocean View club rooms to gain lounge access. These rooms are the same size and decor as non-Club Floor rooms, but the views and access to the Club Lounge will make your experience of the hotel even better.
Review: Club Lounge At Four Seasons Maui
Four Seasons Maui is one of the best luxury hotels in Maui and has one of the best club lounges in Hawaii. This beachfront hotel has lawns running down to the sand, stunning restaurants, including Spago, Maui by Wolfgang Puck, and a wonderful restaurant on the grounds where you can eat under the stars. If you book a club-level room, you can access the club lounge at Four Seasons Maui. These rooms are on the eighth floor, and when you book these rooms, you get a private key that will enable you to access the elusive club lounge.
Just to be clear, you can’t pay to add club-level access to your room at Four Seasons Maui. You must book the club floor rooms in advance of your stay to gain access to this exclusive level. These rooms are not cheap, but considering what you get, they are worth the splurge.
When you arrive, you are not checked in with the rest of the guests and are whisked straight to the lounge, where you are checked in with leis and cocktails (or whatever drink you prefer).
Beyond the private check-in, the lounge is open from six in the morning to eleven in the evening, with food & drinks available throughout the day. The food includes a cold breakfast buffet, snacks, beverages, afternoon tea, sunset cocktails & pupus, after-dinner desserts, and nightcaps.
At the end of your stay, the Club Level is particularly useful as it lets you enjoy the resort post-checkout. Checkout is usually at midday, and without club lounge access, you can use the Aloha Suite, with showers, storage, and seats, to wash up before leaving. But the Aloha Suite can get crowded. If you have club lounge access, you can use the club lounge until you leave. It can feel like an extra day at the hotel.
Review: Four Seasons Maui
We have reviewed the best Four Seasons hotels in Hawaii, which includes the stunning Four Seasons Maui in the most exclusive resort on Maui, Wailea. Four Seasons Maui is the most resort-based Four Seasons hotel on the Hawaiian Islands, in the exclusive resort area of Wailea. I reviewed the best way to get deals and special offers at Four Seasons Maui. The key is to book your next Four Seasons stay via our luxury travel concierge, as we can give you free loyalty-style benefits, room upgrades, and perks while matching the rates on the Four Seasons Maui website.
2. Ritz-Carlton Maui, Kapalua
We consider the club lounge at the Ritz-Carlton Maui the most easily accessible and reasonable club level on Maui and across all the Hawaiian Islands. Ritz-Carlton, Kapalua, Maui offers an exclusive Club Level as well as a beautiful resort on the beach and an exclusive golf course.
You can only get access to the Club Level lounge if you book a Club Level room. The Club Lounge is located near the elevators on the resort’s eighth floor of the Napili Wing. However, unlike the Four Seasons club level above, this club level offers good value when compared to the base room at the hotel. Four Seasons Club Level is great, but wow, it is expensive when compared to the cost of a mountain view room!
Review: Club Lounge At The Ritz-Carlton Maui, Kapalua
The Ritz-Carlton Maui, is a beautiful and secluded resort in the high-end resort of Kapalua on the North West coast of Maui. It offers excellent golf and one of the best club lounges in Hawaii. We love the club lounge at the Ritz-Carlton Maui, Kapalua, because: It Has Excellent Views (you can even watch whales out of the windows!
They call the Ritz-Carlton Club Lounge a hotel within a hotel, and it offers a dedicated concierge and a well-appointed, relaxed lounge environment. Continuous culinary offerings include breakfast, light snacks, hors d’oeuvres, beverages, and sweets – many reflecting the cuisine of the Hawaiian Islands. In the afternoon and evening, you can drink alcoholic drinks of your choice, and staff will make up great cocktails complete with flowers.
Club-level rooms offer better views and are on the hotel’s higher floors. When traveling with kids, the value of the lounge is increased as kids under twelve do not usually cost extra. It is convenient to have a constant array of food available and not have to stick to mealtimes, so paying for the Club Lounge does seem worth it.
Review: The Ritz-Carlton Maui, Kapalua
The Ritz-Carlton Maui, Kapalua, is a beautiful and secluded resort in the high-end resort of Kapalua on the North West coast of Maui. It offers excellent golf and is the perfect place to unwind in acres and acres of grounds. We compared this Ritz-Carlton to the Marriott and Sheraton in Maui a few years ago. The Ritz-Carlton Maui, Kapalua, offers numerous pools, including a 3-tiered pool with a stunning view of the Pacific, a vast spa, a beach, and many restaurants.
3. Hyatt Regency Maui
The Regency Club Lounge at the Hyatt Regency Maui has recently been redesigned and moved to the lobby level of this hotel, which means that it now benefits from a large outdoor terrace with ocean views and the resort’s gardens. This is definitely the best value club lounge on Maui and it is really rather good.
Hyatt club lounges are free to World of Hyatt members with the highest tier of elite status, the Globalists. Lower-tier members can sometimes gain access via one-off certificates. If you are not a Globalist and don’t have any of these certificates, you can access Hyatt Club Lounges by booking a Club Room.
The club lounge at Hyatt Regency Maui features over 3,000 ft² of space. Amenities include a continental breakfast every morning, refreshments, and snacks throughout the day, with light hors d’oeuvres and desserts in the evening. Alcoholic beverages are chargeable but discounted.
You must book a Regency Club room to access the lounge, but they have better views and are on higher floors of the hotel. If you are a high-tier World of Hyatt member, you will get free club lounge access; otherwise, you can book a room specifically with lounge access at the Hyatt Regency Maui.
Considering jet lag, the Regency Club offers convenient hours from 6:30 to 9:00 am for breakfast, featuring an array of options including juices, cereals, pastries, muffins, bread, hot egg dishes, smoked salmon, and sliced meats.
Throughout the day, guests can enjoy mid-day snacks like nuts, fruit, and cookies, along with soft drinks and juice. In the evening, a salad bar offers a variety of choices, complemented by meats, rolls, cheese, crackers, and other snacks.
Dining at the resort’s restaurants can be pricey, with a dinner for two often totaling close to $150 USD, making the lounge’s offerings a great value alternative. However, drinks come at an additional cost of around $5 USD each.
Desserts are available later in the evening. With the potential to save money on dining expenses, having access to the Regency Club at the Hyatt Regency Maui is a worthwhile indulgence.
Review: Club Lounge At Hyatt Regency Maui
The Regency Club Lounge at the Hyatt Regency Maui is on the lobby level of this hotel, and it benefits from a large outdoor terrace with ocean and garden views. The terrace of this lounge is nothing less than idyllic, making this one of the best club lounges on Maui and one of the best club lounges in all the Hawaii Islands. Hyatt club lounges are available for free to World of Hyatt members with the highest tier of elite status, the Globalists. Lower tier members can sometimes gain access via one-off certificates.
4. Grand Wailea, A Waldorf Astoria Resort
Grand Wailea, A Waldorf Astoria Resort, is located on the picturesque southwest shore of Maui, one of the Hawaiian Islands. The location of Grand Wailea is on the same beach as the Four Seasons Maui and Wailea Beach Resort. Grand Wailea, A Waldorf Astoria Resort, is a tropical prime beachfront resort. A stroll up the coast is the Fairmont Kea Lani.
Nearby, guests can explore the upscale shopping and dining at The Shops at Wailea and championship golf courses, including the Wailea Golf Club. The resort is also within driving distance of popular destinations such as Haleakalā National Park, where visitors can experience breathtaking sunrise and sunset views from the summit of Haleakalā Volcano.
Four Seasons Maui Vs. Grand Wailea: Which Is Best?
Which is the best hotel in Maui? Four Seasons Maui Vs. Grand Wailea, A Waldorf Astoria Resort? The good news is that we have stayed at both of these hotels, and I have outlined the pros and cons of each hotel below. If you don't have time to read this article in detail, the Four Seasons Maui is the best hotel, far better than the Grand Wailea, A Waldorf Astoria Resort, in our opinion. It is more glamorous and more beautifully decorated. It even smells better due to the deliciously scented extravagant flower arrangements dotted all over the hotel.
This sprawling hotel showcases a conventional design, with its main attraction being its remarkable pool facilities. The resort boasts numerous pools, water features, and recreational options. A standout feature is the Wailea Canyon Activity Pool, which comprises nine interconnected pools, water slides, a lazy river, and a Tarzan rope swing, ensuring endless entertainment for guests of all ages. Additionally, for those searching for a tranquil atmosphere, an adults-only pool is available.
Access to the club lounge requires booking a club room in the Napua Tower. The Napua Club lounge offers a satisfactory breakfast, afternoon tea, and evening happy hour with appetizers. While the ambiance is pleasant, most guests are captivated by the allure of the tropical pools, resulting in limited time spent in the lounge. It lacks the charm and scenic vistas found in the club lounges of the Four Seasons or Ritz-Carlton.
Being a Waldorf property, the Diamond benefits are minimal. There is no free breakfast and no access to the executive club lounge, but you can get free breakfast along with other free benefits if you book via our concierge.
Review: Grand Wailea, A Waldorf Astoria Resort, Napua Club Lounge
Grand Wailea, A Waldorf Astoria Resort, hosts the second best club lounge in Wailea. Is it any good? Read on to find out. Grand Wailea, A Waldorf Astoria Resort, features the Napua Club Lounge. This executive club lounge provides complimentary food and drinks throughout the day. While this is a good club lounge, the quality of food and setting is not a patch on the club lounge offered by Four Seasons Maui, next door.
