While the Ritz-Carlton remains the very best Marriott Bonvoy property in Dallas and has the very best club lounge in Dallas, a better option might be to forgo the club lounge and stay at the cheaper W Hotel Dallas Victory or the Le Méridien Dallas, The Stoneleigh, which are both Marriott Bonvoy properties (outlined below).
Neither has a club lounge, but they are part of the Marriott Bonvoy portfolio of hotels. If you book most Marriott Bonvoy hotels via our luxury travel concierge, we can usually get guests free breakfast for two, room upgrades (subject to availability), hotel credit, and more. Having breakfast and room credit can negate the need for a club lounge, particularly if you are only staying for one night, as guests get breakfast in the morning and can spend the room credit on food in the evening.

The W Dallas also has an outdoor pool and numerous good dining options within walking distance, but the ‘bathroom’ at W in non-suite guest rooms is formed by a curtain, which seems a weirdly cheap option but kind of fits with the ultra-modern look.

5. Sheraton Downtown Dallas
Sheraton Downtown Dallas is nestled in the city’s downtown district, near American Airlines Center, Fair Park, and the diverse Deep Ellum neighborhood. It is about a mile from the train station, Dealy Plaza, etc., but next to the convention center and near many downtown buildings.
The Light Rail stops on the corner of the hotel, which is useful for getting around town. This is an older, massive high-rise Sheraton, with renovated rooms and suites offering spacious desks and high-speed Wi-Fi to the Sheraton Signature Sleep Experience.
Dining options include Draft Sports Bar & Lounge, which offers 12 beers on tap and the day’s big games. You can also enjoy breakfast, lunch, or dinner at Open Palette, Illy coffee at Moka Pot, a cocktail at The Parlor, or an on-the-go snack from the marketplace.
The Sheraton Downtown Dallas recently completed a year-long renovation and now has a very good new ground-floor club lounge with juice, soft drinks, fruit, and breakfast offerings. The lounge itself is much larger (and nicer) than the old one on the 15th floor, and the fact that the hotel has been redone puts this hotel and lounge in our second position.
Executive rooms have been refurbished, but avoid rooms facing the road as they can be noisy. Because of the recent renovations, this is probably also your best Sheraton choice in Dallas.
6. Dallas Marriott Downtown

8. Renaissance Dallas Addison Hotel
An Executive King Suite at Renaissance can be around the same price as a basic room at the Ritz-Carlton above, but when comparing the two, the club lounge and the luxury ambiance cannot be compared. The Ritz-Carlton is the better choice, budget-allowing.
The Ritz is a much nicer property and better located for restaurants, bars, etc., with a fantastic restaurant and great room service food as well as club lounge food. The breakfast is the stuff of great memories.
Renaissance Dallas Addison Hotel by the Galleria is not such a high-end or well-located choice unless you want to be near the mall. It is still a fair choice in this town and has the added advantage of a club lounge.
In fact, Renaissance Dallas Galleria Hotel was previously the InterContinental Dallas built in 1983, so the room size here is very decent. It is set in a shopping area of Addison, 1 km from the city center. Main Street Garden is about a 30-minute drive from here.
The Renaissance Dallas Galleria’s recent renovations fuse the interior with the surrounding Texas landscape through natural colors, textures, and materials, adding to its stature as one of the city’s premier meeting properties. The hotel’s 528 oversized guestrooms are appointed in a classic contemporary style. Twenty-four unique two-story suites range from 750 to 2,200 ft².
Concierge rooms include club lounge access, a lounge that offers tremendous evening offerings but only on weekdays. This lounge is closed on weekends and holidays, and you get breakfast coupons for the full buffet breakfast in the main restaurant instead of the lounge breakfast (& evening canapes) at weekends.
