Which Luxury Collection hotels have executive lounges, and which of these club levels are the best in the world across America, Asia, Europe, and Australia?

We think the best Luxury Collection club lounge is the lounge in Grosvenor House Dubai because:

  • Amazing Breakfast.
  • Afternoon tea is extravagant.
  • The Views Are Amazing.

Previously, we have reviewed the best Ritz-Carlton club lounge and the best Marriott club lounge.

Because the Luxury Collection, Ritz-Carlton, Marriott, Sheraton, and Weston hotels all fall under the Marriott Bonvoy umbrella, it is worth checking out the Ritz-Carlton, Sheraton, and Marriott alternatives. In this review, we focus only on lounges at The Luxury Collection hotels.

At certain InterContinental hotels, our luxury travel concierge offers free club lounge access. We offer free lounge access at the InterContinental London Park Lane, Paris Le Grand, and InterContinental New York Barclay. There is no other way to get free lounge access at InterContinental hotels.

Here are the best Luxury Collection hotels with executive club lounges:

1. Grosvenor House Dubai

The Grosvenor House Dubai feels very much like a proper Luxury Collection hotel, with a brilliant location close to the beach, next to the marina walk, and there are plenty of great bars and restaurants in the hotel, including Sidarta Lounge, Buddha Bar, Torro Torro, The embassy, etc.

The Grosvenor House has great views of the marina from their rooms, which is a great way to wake up. Many rooms have a nice balcony overlooking Atlantis and the hotel’s main breakfast selection is so good that the locals and ex-pats regularly take breakfast here.

The club lounge is one of the best club lounges in Dubai. Overall, this is one of your best options if you are a Marriott Bonvoy member and are looking for luxury hotel in Dubai to earn and redeem your points, particularly if you are traveling as a couple rather than a family as the limited pool facilities at this hotel are a disadvantage for families.

If you stay at Grosvenor House Dubai, you also get access to all the beach and pool facilities at Le Royal Meridien via a free and regular shuttle between the two hotels, or you can just run across Al Sufouh Road between the hotels, so you get the best of both worlds.

The food in this club lounge at the Grosvenor House Luxury Collection is very good. Breakfast is amazing (though the restaurant breakfast is a bit better), lunch is provided, followed by afternoon tea time and pre-dinner drinks.

Afternoon tea is extravagant! Eggplant spaghetti and a large salad, anyone? This is a proper meal and the largest spread I have ever seen for afternoon tea at a Marriott. Overall you can treat this lounge as if you have booked half or even full board, as there is enough food to fill you up.

2. The Athenee Hotel, A Luxury Collection Hotel, Bangkok

Atheene Hotel is a member of the Luxury Collection of Hotels, and this hotel has one of the best executive club lounge in Bangkok.

The Royal Club Lounge here sits joint first with the Anantara as the best executive club lounge in Bangkok. This lounge offers a club room and suite guests have an exclusive enclave where they may enjoy a fresh cup of coffee or tea, check emails with complimentary High-Speed Internet Access, conduct a business meeting in the private boardroom, watch multiple flat-screen televisions, or simply relax over a glass of wine. A private meeting room has a long conference table, modern leather armchairs, and the latest audiovisual equipment. The meeting room is complimentary for up to two hours.

Start your morning with a continental breakfast buffet. Enjoy a fresh cup of illy coffee or a soft drink during the day. In the afternoon, a formal high tea is served with finger sandwiches and pastries. Hors d’oeuvres and a selection of drinks from the open bar are available in the evening.

3. The Prince Gallery Tokyo Kioicho, A Luxury Collection Hotel

The Prince Gallery Tokyo Kioicho, A Luxury Collection Hotel, has one of the best club lounges in Tokyo.

The club lounge can be found really high up in this hotel, so it offers incredible views. It sits happily on the 34th floor of the hotel.

The decor in the lounge consists of lots of grey bucket sofa seats on a wild mustard carpet. The windows are floor-to-ceiling, and the views are jaw-dropping. There are little booths for a more private place to sit and grab a bite, and there is a black marble buffet area at one end. Snacks, cheeses, cold cuts, fish, and cakes are all available in the evening, and drinks are served seven to half past nine.

This is a great lounge with great views and enough dinner to fill you up.
