So you have paid for your flight on British Airways, be it in European Business Class, or International Business Class, but is the food in the Business Class British Airways Lounges any good?

I prefer to fly early afternoon which means that I arrive at the end of the breakfast service in the airport lounge and at the start of the lunch service. When I arrived at 11ish into the Galleries Business Class lounge at London Heathrow, a large variety of salad had been set out (not part of breakfast), but much of the breakfast was still available which included porridge, various patisseries like pan au chocolate and croissants and toast with jams and butter.

I am not a great fan of patisseries but there was a nice selection and it looked tasty. The salads on offer included beetroot a couscous type offering, lettuce, tomatoes, cucumber, and a pasta and tomato salad. Also on offer is fruit, Kettle Chip crisps, and biscuits (which aren’t very nice) next to the tea and coffee stations.

Once breakfast had been packed up, the hot food area was filled up with baked potato & grated cheese, beans, curry with rice, and so forth. See my photos for more details.

Is it any good? Well, there is certainly enough to fill you up and the baked potatoes with a filling are very pleasant although hardly gourmet. That said, the afternoon tea provided on my British Airways Business Class flight to Nice was quite small so I was glad that I had filled up in the lounge.
