Book A Hotel

I have taken this flight on the Airbus A380 in a First Class suite a couple of times since the inauguration, of this newish seat. I still get excited a couple of days before my flight.

The First Class airport lounge at San Francisco is a pleasant experience, and boarding is somewhat efficient and orderly, however on a 380 with all the elite members and a large business class, the priority line is long.

The 380 has three cabins on the lower deck; First, Club World, and World Traveler towards the rear. On the upper deck Club World is followed by World Traveler Plus and then World Traveler.

Once onboard, however, I was quickly introduced to my suite and corresponding clothes closet for the storage of jackets and other garments. Your suite consists of a fully reclining flatbed with a chair at the opposite end so that you can enjoy another person to stop by and say hi!

I was traveling with a friend, so we had seats 2E and 2F with the divider between us. This is great when traveling with a friend or partner, to create a friendly atmosphere to share.

Pajamas were provided on request, and at any stage during the flight, your bed could be prepared by the flight attendant. You were also provided with a his/hers amenity kit with some great goodies.

The best bathrooms on this plane are on the upper deck at the front of Club World. The bathrooms are huge!! When flying First, I always go upstairs via the grand staircase at the front of the plane and change into my pajamas.

Throughout the flight, fine wine and top-shelf cocktails were provided with great service.

In-Flight Entertainment throughout the flight was great. Many movies to choose from, and always love the BBC news and documentaries.

On arrival, First passengers usually deplane first on the lower deck. This helps since there were a lot of people on this plane and any headstart towards immigration helps.
