Enjoy a 3-night stay for 2 guests in a Studio 60 Room at The Temple House, Chengdu. Stay includes daily breakfast. Stay is valued at approximately $1,500 USD / £1,260 GBP *. Please note the winner will be required to separately pay for taxes and all additional purchases, including further meals, drinks, spa treatments, excursions, gratuities, etc.
Auction stay dates: to be booked in advance and stay taken between 01 July 2023 to 30 June 2024, excluding all stays over Public Holidays and weekends.
Chengdu is an extraordinary place where the past and present live side by side. The Temple House is one of four Houses in The House Collective, and its name comes from the 1,600-year-old Daci Temple on whose former grounds the hotel is built, which has also inspired the House’s approach to wellness, gastronomy, and art. Located in the heart of Chengdu within the Taikoo Li, The Temple House is ideally positioned for attractions, sightseeing, shopping, and transport.
The 100-room House and its 42 serviced residences form an integral part of the city government’s conservation project to preserve the surrounding heritage buildings next to the thousand-year-old Daci Temple. Elegant bamboo trees frame the House’s entrance, which is set in a beautifully restored hundred-year-old Chinese courtyard built in the Qing Dynasty. Mi Xun houses the award-winning spa, which includes a pool and fitness center, as well as a Michelin-starred teahouse serving vegan Sichuan cuisine.
The Temple House also offers a dynamic collection of outlets including The Temple Café for breakfast, lunches, and dinners; TIVANO, a MICHELIN Guide selected restaurant, offering Italian delights and delicious wines from the cellar; and JING with live DJs, handcrafted drinks, international beers as well as local beers and spirits too.
The winner and their guest will be staying in a 63 sqm. Studio 60 Room with an understated design and handmade Chinese accents. The room also features an ultra-comfortable king or twin beds with crisp white linens and a black stone spa-inspired bathroom with a luxe walk-in rain shower. Other amenities include Bose® Bluetooth® portable speaker, 46″ Interactive TV with streaming for Android and iOS devices, Bowers & Wilkins soundbar in selected room types, high-speed wifi, broadband internet, complimentary Maxi Bar, an espresso machine with a selection of teas and infusions and exclusive Bamford toiletries.
