Book A Hotel

What better way to celebrate your special day than at a luxury Four Seasons Hotel? When we stay at Four Seasons Hotels, we often spot a cordoned-off area where a small or large group of guests are celebrating tying the knot. In fact, two of our own travel advisors got married at Four Seasons hotels (Four Seasons Maui and Hampshire, in case you are curious), so we highly reccomend celebrating your nuptials in an exclusive hotel like one of these.

Having stayed at many Four Seasons hotels around the world, we have spent a great deal of time considering the very best Four Seasons hotels for a wedding, and here are our top picks:

1. Grand-Hotel du Cap-Ferrat, A Four Seasons Hotel

Grand-Hotel du Cap-Ferrat, A Four Seasons Hotel is an other-worldly hotel must be visited even if you can’t afford to hold your entire wedding here. This historic property is simply breathtaking, standing proudly on the end of the exclusive Cap Ferrat peninsula in France. Hidden behind extravagant gates and offering perfectly manicured lawns meandering down to the stylish beach club, which juts out on a rocky outcrop on the edge of the azur blu Mediterranean. Evenings here are spent on the terrace listening to live music, enjoying cocktails and fine dining, and days are spent lazing by the pool and enjoying treatments at one of the world’s best spas.

Grand-Hotel du Cap-Ferrat, A Four Seasons Hotel, would be our top pick for a wedding hotel and a Honeymoon destination, not just from the Four Seasons portfolio, but frankly, this would be our number one choice out of all the hotels in the world.

For practicality, the hotel is only around 30 minutes from Nice airport. There is an area to the right of the gardens under fragrant pines that can be roped off as an exclusive alfresco wedding party area.

Ultimately, what sets this hotel apart from other magical destinations like the Maldives or perhaps Hawaii, is the French sophistication and joie de vivre that you won’t find anywhere else. If you need more convincing, according to Hello Magazine, celebrity couple Tamara Ecclestone and Jay Rutland are believed to have said ‘I do’ at the Grand Hotel du Cap Ferrat.

2. Four Seasons Maui

Four Seasons Maui offers a tropical paradise setting with numerous photoshoot spots on grassy knolls overlooking a picture-perfect beach.

Being purely practical, this gorgeous enclave on Maui is a short drive from Kahului Airport, which is a major international airport, so your guests should be able to fly into Maui on direct flights. This makes Maui a great pick for your wedding. The Maui Four Seasons property also offers a more exclusive low-rise setting.

In terms of what to expect, Four Seasons will set up a wonderful outdoor area with an aisle flanked with rows of white chairs all set up on the grass and overlooking the beach. They say:

“Say “I do” beneath a natural canopy of sweet-smelling plumeria trees overlooking the beach at secluded Plumeria Point. Share a toast beneath the stars surrounded by your friends and family on our expansive Oceanfront Lawn with Wailea Beach and the Kahalawai Mountains as your backdrop. If our tropical island Resort sounds like a wedding paradise, that’s because it is.” For the celebrity endorsment, Megan Fox & Brian Austin Green got married here.

3. Four Seasons Lanai

Four Seasons Lanai is also one of our favorite Four Seasons hotels to get married at. This hotel is definitely one of the best Four Seasons in Hawaii and feels even more exclusive than the Maui property but comes below the Maui Four Seasons as it is more difficult to get to.

If you book a stay here, inter-island flights are usually included, and once you land, the hotel whisks you from a private lounge to this beachfront Four Seasons, so holding your wedding here isn’t a huge hassle, but the inter-island flights do add an extra leg to your journey so if you have just come off a long flight to Hawaii, this extra leg may not be ideal.

Once you are on Lanai, this hotel is completely magical, with a wonderful stretch of empty beach, stunning pools, amazing golf, and superb restaurants. What sets this hotel apart from the Maui property is that the beach is used more or less exclusively by Four Seasons guests, whereas on Maui, the beach is shared with guests from the Grand Wailea Waldorf hotel, the Wailea Beach Marriott and the residents of numerous villas in the Wailea resort area. We also love the resident dolphins that seem to live just off this beach.

They say, “Let your love story unfold on secluded, pristine Lanai. Our private-island resort, with its verdant mountains, seaside cliffs, and broad beaches, exudes the kind of rugged natural beauty that can’t help but inspire romance, making it an ideal destination to celebrate your love.”

4. Four Seasons Hualalai

Four Seasons Hualalai is a completely amazing Hawaiian Four Seasons hotel, this time on the Big Island. This hotel attracts regular guests, and it’s hard to get a booking over busy periods like New Year’s Eve. This Four Seasons offers numerous beaches, pools, and a low-rise design and is amazing in every way. You know you are on Big Island because of all the lava rock encircling the beaches and the King’s Pond, where you can swim with fish, is really unique.

They say, “Hawaii is renowned for its stunning natural beauty, and you’ll see plenty of it on Big Island’s northern Kona-Kohala coast. That’s where you’ll find our Forbes Five-Star Beachfront Resort, a tropical playground nestled between lush island foliage and the water’s edge. There’s something special about our little slice of paradise – let us make it truly unforgettable for your wedding day.”

5. Four Seasons Los Cabos

Another beach gem is Four Seasons Los Cabos and a major bonus of this Four Seasons is that you can book a beachfront room here with its own private plunge pool. This means that on the morning of your wedding day you can jump out of bed and are just steps from the shore for a morning swim. If you prefer, you can relax outside your room and cool off in your own private plunge pool.

The unique feature of this particular Four Seasons hotel is that Four Seasons Los Cabos At Costa Palmas encompasses over two miles of beach, and this beach is much, much calmer than the often unusable beaches facing the Pacific, where most of the other Los Cabos hotels are located. Add in the views of the Sierra de la Laguna mountain range, which the resort is designed to take advantage of, and you will be hard-pressed to find a more ridiculously romantic luxury hotel in Los Cabos or the world.

6. Four Seasons Costa Rica

For a more tropical feel, you can’t beat the lush, romantic landscape of Four Seasons Costa Rica at Peninsula Papagayo, edged with two golden-sand beaches facing calm Culebra Bay and the open Pacific. The combination of relaxed luxury, epic Latin American scenery, impeccable, warm service, and excellent facilities makes this stunning eco-resort an absolute dream.

For your wedding location, you can choose from two beaches, and for your wedding night, the suites offer privacy and exclusivity. You can’t avoid an ocean view here, but the rooms being lower down than the suites do come with those ocean sounds too! You will fall in love with falling asleep each night to the mesmerizing sound of crashing waves and waking to the same reassuring sound of nature.

7. Four Seasons Hampshire

If being lord of the manor or living the Downton Abby lifestyle appeals, then Four Seasons Hampshire is the resort to pick. This hotel has to be one of the best, if not the best, luxury hotel in the English Countryside. The manor house sits on the brow of a hill, and the setting is particularly stunning in the summer, where neverending wild lawns sway with the breeze, creating a tapestry of color, down to a distant lake.

If you can, book the quaint walled garden for your wedding. This enchanting and sheltered private garden is perfect for your ceremony, surrounded by English roses and pretty flower beds. The rooms to pick are the Manor and Grand Manor rooms which tend to overlook the front of the hotel so you can enjoy a birdseye view of your guests as they arrive from your window!

The spa here is excellent, and there is an amazing kid’s pool with a big red slide. If that’s not enough, there are always fun British Manor house experiences going on in the grounds, like showcases of birds of prey, pony riding, clay pigeon shooting, archery, and sheepdog training.

8. Four Seasons Maldives at Landaa Giraavaru

Four Seasons Maldives at Landaa Giraavaru one of the world’s most beautiful islands: a natural UNESCO Biosphere Reserve wilderness where iridescent blues, jungle greens, and dazzling whites.

While the Maldives might be considered more of a honeymoon than a wedding destination, why not combine the both and bask in the views of Blu Beach with its kilometer of white sand. Also on offer here is more-than-Michelin-starred dining at Blu Beach Club, plus you can snorkel with mantas, rehabilitate sea turtles, and experience world-class wellness at AyurMa.

9. Four Seasons At The Surf Club

From the moment it opened its doors on New Year’s Eve 1930, The Surf Club became synonymous with celebration. People from all over the world have made their way to The Surf Club seeking the most grandiose parties with ceremony and swagger.

This history of extravagant events makes Four Seasons At The Surf Club the perfect venue for a radiant wedding. Mix in their golden sand beach and gorgeous pool area, and you have a brilliant venue for both your wedding and your honeymoon too.

10. Four Seasons Resort Seychelles at Desroches Island

Four Seasons Resort Seychelles at Desroches Island is situated on the outer edge of the Indian Ocean’s archipelago. Desroches Island is located among the Amirantes Islands, a 35-minute flight southwest of Mahé. Their rustic villas and suites here are intimate retreats and will make you feel like a castaway who has struck gold.

There isn’t a bad room here. There are only 40 exclusive beach suites and 11 private residence villas, making this one of the smallest properties in the Four Seasons portfolio. With direct access to unspoiled beaches and the azure waters of the Indian Ocean, the resort’s suites also offer private plunge pools, tropical gardens, and luxurious outdoor living spaces.

This is the perfect place enjoy a beachside wedding on the white sand in the middle of the Indian Ocean.
