Book A Hotel

Which is the best club or executive lounge at the best luxury hotels in Prague? Usually, the Ritz-Carlton or InterContinental offers the best club lounge in a city, but there is no Ritz-Carlton in Prague, and the InterContinental has closed. There used to be a club lounge at this InterContinental, but this is no longer a hotel option in Prague. You are therefore left with a rather limited selection of hotels in Prague with club lounges, which I have outlined below.

If you’re a luxury traveler, we recommend trying the impressive Four Seasons Prague. If staying in a hotel without a club lounge isn’t a deal breaker, Four Seasons offers centuries of wonder fill its walls, tracing the city’s history from the Baroque era to the neoclassical to the modern day. They say “A certain magic in the air flows effortlessly through Old Town Square, onto Charles Bridge, over the Vltava, and up the tallest spires of Prague Castle – and that’s just what you can see from Four Seasons Hotel Prague.”

You may or may not know that if you book a stay at any luxury hotel in Prague using an official Preferred Partner agent like our luxury travel concierge, you will get two free breakfasts along with other fantastic benefits such as a delicious welcome gift, a prioritized room upgrade (subject to availability) and $100 resort credit.

Why Use A Club Lounge?

When deciding which hotel to choose for your stay in a city like Prague, it is sensible to consider the added extras provided by a hotel club lounge. Offerings usually include complimentary drinks and snacks throughout the day, breakfast in the morning, and evening cocktails with canapés. Often, the evening food and drink offering is more than enough to replace the need to go out for an evening meal.

Club or Executive hotel lounges also provide an enjoyable environment to work and relax. Some lounges also offer dedicated meeting rooms, although I find holding meetings in the main lounge more friendly. I’m not particularly eager to sit in restaurants alone when I travel for business. Room service is also a lonely affair, so a club lounge provides the ideal environment to enjoy good food and atmosphere while comfortably sitting at a table for one.

1. Best Club Lounge: Corinthia Prague

The best executive club lounge in Prague can be found at the Corinthia. The hotel is located on the top of one of the seven hills of Prague. The executive lounge here be accessed if you book an executive room. It is on the 22nd floor and has great views across the city. It offers complimentary snacks and drinks.

2. Hilton Prague Old Town

The name of this hotel suggests it is located in an Old Town building, but it is actually located in a more modern building. It does have a good location being 20 mins to walk to the castle and 10 mins walk to the Old Town square.

Hilton Prague Old Town has an executive lounge for those who book the executive floor. The service in this lounge is great, and the food and drink are decent, with breakfast, soft drinks, and snacks available throughout the day. In the afternoon, sandwiches, cakes, and fruit are provided. There are around 2 hours of happy hour with free alcoholic drinks in the evening along with warm snacks, cheeses, and cakes in the evening.

3. Hilton Prague

If you upgrade to an executive room at Hilton Prague, you get access to their executive lounge, which offers a large selection of soft drinks/spirits, hot food, sweets, and snacks. This lounge opens for breakfast and closes late. The service in this lounge is great, and the food and drink are decent, with breakfast, soft drinks, and snacks available throughout the day. It is worth noting that this hotel is around a 25-minute walk from the main square in the Old Town, so while everything is walkable, it is not on your doorstep if you stay here. You can use the metro transport system to get around. The nearest station to this Hilton is Florenc, which can be found about 200 meters away.

4. Prague Marriott Hotel

While the Prague Marriott is not impressive, it does have an MClub executive lounge. This hotel is located by a major train station that connects to the airport, so it is convenient and is walkable to the Old Town Square, bridge, and castle.
