Book A Hotel

I’ve just returned from a fabulous stay at Grand-Hôtel du Cap-Ferrat, a Four Seasons Hotel neat the small town Saint Jean Cap Ferrat and I’m now booking a brilliant deal here for our next trip away.

Below I share tips on how I manage to secure the best possible deal and discount for my next at Four Seasons Cap-Ferrat. This hotel isn’t cheap but using the tips below I can help you get room rates cheaper.

Before I dive in, I also wanted to highlight that there is no resort fee at Four Seasons Grand Hotel Du Cap Ferrat, just a small room tax which is made clear when you book your room. The lack of a resort fee is a huge advantage when comparing this resort to many resorts on American soil.

Here are my top tips:

1. Free Benefits Are As Good As A Discount

It’s worth immediately mentioning that you can get free loyalty style benefits at all Four Seasons hotels including a room upgrade if you book with a luxury travel agent like our luxury travel concierge so please do get in contact to find out more.

Our rates match those on the Four Seasons website, including discounted and special offer rates, but by booking with us, you get extra complimentary benefits, including free breakfast, free room upgrade (subject to availability), a welcome gift, and a $100 resort credit. We offer similar free benefits at over 1,000 other luxury hotels across the world.

2. End Of Season Deals At Four Seasons Grand Hotel Du Cap Ferrat

Low season rates are my biggest and best tip at this fabulous hotel. I just looked up rates for a July stay and you can book the Palace Sea-View Room for €4,315 EUR on average per night. This is the cheapest room available.

You can book the Pinewood Superior room for €710 EUR per night at the end of October.

You can book the Pinewood Superior room for €490 EUR per night in November, just before the hotel closes.

The hotel is due to close in mid-November, and the weather is unlikely to be that great in November, but the staff, restaurants, bar, and grounds all remain at the same level of fabulousness.

To put it another way, you can stay almost 9 nights at Four Seasons Cap Ferrat in the winter for the same price as one night in the summer.

Book with our luxury travel concierge, and you get a truly fabulous breakfast for all nine mornings as well as a very high chance of bagging that room upgrade as the hotel is unlikely to be full in November.

3. Early Seasons Deals

Grand-Hôtel Du Cap-Ferrat, a Four Seasons Hotel, usually reopens around March 4th for the new season. In fact, for 2023, the magic date for reopening seems to be March 2nd. Book immediately after re-opening, and the rate is a staggering €490 EUR per night.

In April, rates start at €710 per night, which is still a great deal, and you can get some lovely weather during April so, if you are lucky, will be able to spend your stay lounging by the pool.

4. Book A Deal When You Can Best Use The Pool

Grand-Hôtel du Cap-Ferrat, a Four Seasons Hotel, is renowned for having one of the world’s most beautiful swimming pools. Club Dauphin has been an iconic symbol of the Hotel since 1939. Perched above the rocky Mediterranean coastline, this small corner of paradise offers spectacular sea views where guests can make full use of the comfortable sun loungers or reserve one of the 19 recently renovated private cabanas and enjoy a swim in the Club’s spectacular heated saltwater infinity pool.

Club Dauphin restaurant opens in mid-April, so if you want to make full use of the facilities, a stay after April 14th may be advisable for both the weather and to fully enjoy the pool area.

5. Book A Special Offer At Four Seasons Grand Hotel Du Cap Ferrat

Four Seasons Grand Hotel Du Cap Ferrat’s own website lists all the special offers currently available at the hotel. Offers include extended stay and advance purchase offers. You can combine these offers with the complimentary benefits offered by our luxury travel concierge.

6. Book The Cheapest Room

At the Four Seasons Grand Hotel Du Cap Ferrat, the cheapest rooms are the Superior Pine View rooms without sea views. These are still great rooms with plenty of space and stylish decor. It is largely the view that varies, and you pay more for a better view.

Of course, some of the rooms at this hotel have better views than others. The Palace Sea View Room has expansive views out over the front of the hotel and across the gardens to the sea. The view is jaw-dropping, and in the summer, the evening’s live jazz or prettily warbling singer makes music on the Veranda, which drifts up to your balcony as you get ready for the evening ahead.

Even the cheapest room at the Four Seasons Grand Hotel Du Cap Ferrat is a great room. Admittedly the room is facing the wrong way away from the sea, so you won’t hear the crashing of the waves as you fall asleep or the music each evening, but you will have a similarly great holiday, whichever room you choose.

7. Get Priority Upgrades

The Four Seasons hotel benefits that our luxury travel concierge offers are prioritized because we are an exclusive and official Four Seasons agent. What does this mean? Put simply, a room booked by us will get priority upgrades over those who book any other way (including booking via the website direct). Book with us to get a free upgrade. If there is only one room available at the hotel, which is the category above yours, we put you at the front of the line. You will be prioritized to get this upgrade!

8. Stay One Night & Enjoy For Two Days

Four Seasons Grand Hotel Du Cap Ferrat is brilliant with a beautiful pool, terrace, and setting. Even if you just book your stay for one night, you can use the facilities on the afternoon of arrival and the day of departure.

9. Use Corporate Promo Codes

There are special corporate promo discount codes, so if you are an employee of a company like Goldman Sachs, Bank Of America, IBM, or the government, you might be able to take advantage of these discounts. These codes are not widely available to the general public, and the discount may not be as good as the benefits offered by our luxury travel concierge. We suggest asking for a free quote from our luxury travel concierge so you can compare prices and benefits and get the complete picture before booking.

10. Join The Four Seasons Loyalty Scheme

This is a trick title! Four Seasons doesn’t reward guests with loyalty points. Most Four Seasons hotel room rates start at $500 – $1000 USD per night, and because there isn’t a Four Seasons loyalty program, you will never be able to book a free stay by racking up and redeeming points, or by collecting points on your credit card and spending them on a Four Seasons hotel stay. It can’t be done.

If you are a premium member of an alternate hotel’s loyalty scheme, you get premium benefits, particularly if you are a regular guest. The only way of getting this kind of special treatment and loyalty benefit at a Four Seasons hotel is by booking with a luxury travel agent like our luxury travel concierge.
