Book A Hotel

Four Seasons is one of the most luxurious hotel brands in the world, and it is natural to ask the question, is there a Four Seasons in Melbourne, Australia?

Wherever you are in the world, Four Seasons hotels are consistently one of the best hotels in that city or resort. They don’t have a Four Seasons loyalty program, so you will never be able to book a free stay by racking up and redeeming points or by collecting points on your credit card and spending them at a Four Seasons hotel. It can’t be done. But you can get discounts at Four Seasons hotels and benefit from special rewards at Four Seasons hotels for no extra cost by booking your next stay via our luxury travel concierge.

Is There A Four Seasons In Melbourne?

The answer is no. There is not currently a Four Seasons in Melbourne, which is a real shame. In fact, the only Four Seasons in Australia (at least for now) is the Four Seasons in Sydney which incidentally also has one of the best club lounges in Sydney. Although Four Seasons hotels are not cheap, their reliably expensive room rates mean that their rooms are reliably excellent, and a Four Seasons hotel is always a blissfully and reliably luxurious retreat.

But don’t be too sad. There are also some alternative luxurious hotels that you can book into.

Where Should I Stay?

InterContinental Melbourne The Rialto is a great choice and is located in the beautiful red brick Rialto Building (built-in 1885) that is famous for its Venetian Gothic architecture. The lobby of the hotel is stunning, with massively high ceilings.

The Melbourne Club InterContinental lounge is available exclusively for guests booking into Club InterContinental rooms and suites. This is one of the best club lounges in Melbourne. If you are in an Executive room you will have to pay a premium to access the Club.

With private access on level 4, this lounge is a place of sanctuary with all-day refreshments and Barista Coffee. It is a modern lounge but has a historic balcony area where you can have drinks and a bite alfresco if the weather is nice.

The canapés in this club lounge are good, and there is also a small buffet if you would like something more, but you will probably need to eat out as the offering isn’t overly filling. This lounge is undoubtedly lovely and one of the best executive lounges in Melbourne, but the evening food array is a little lacking.
