When To Visit Napa
There isn’t a bad time to visit Napa Valley. While September and October are the busiest and warmest months, offering the chance to experience the annual grape harvest in action, the winter months are peaceful, uncrowded, and not too chilly, with temperatures mostly hanging out in the 50s and 60s.
1. Napa Valley Marriott Hotel & Spa
Napa Valley Marriott Hotel & Spa is a Rewards Category 7 Marriott Bonvoy hotel in Napa Valley.
It has great guest rooms, lots of outdoor garden spaces, a luxurious resort-style swimming pool, an on-site restaurant, and a full-service spa. The refreshed courtyard is a particular highlight, with warmly lit fire pits and lush landscaping.
Within the Napa Valley Marriott, Hotel & Spa is a great executive club lounge that is open seven days a week, so if you visit on weekends, you can access the lounge if you have the right status of Marriott Bonvoy membership (Platinum of above) or pay for access.
The lounge has breakfast, including egg and hot oatmeal and evening Hors d’oeuvres. There are free non-alcoholic drinks and snacks throughout the day and an honor bar for alcoholic drinks. Snacks included sausages in bacon, veggies, and other snacks.
2. Embassy Suites by Hilton Napa Valley
Embassy Suites by Hilton Napa Valley is another hotel option in Napa Valley with an executive club lounge. Book an executive room or suite and get a free breakfast and evening reception with drinks and appetizers.
If you book an executive suite, you will also get a 375ml bottle of premium Napa Valley wine, a spacious living room with shutter windows, a posh sofa bed, ottomans, a California king-sized bed, two 32-inch LCD flat-screen TVs, a galley kitchen, and table with two chairs. Rejuvenate with the extra amenities of plush bathrobes, Keurig coffee brewer, premium bottled waters.
The Westin Verasa Napa has no club lounge, but premium Platinum Marriott Bonvoy members reportedly get complimentary continental breakfast in the hotel restaurant.
The Andaz Napa is your Hyatt hotel option in the area, and this doesn’t offer a club lounge either.
3. Four Seasons Resort Napa Valley
The Four Seasons Resort Napa Valley is also worth considering as it has to be the best luxury hotel in the area even though it doesn’t have a club lounge.
The new Four Seasons is located at 400 Silverado Trail in the charming community of Calistoga, just 90 minutes and yet a world away from San Francisco, the Bay Area, and Sacramento. Designed by Napa’s own Erin Martin and with just 85 accommodations, this is one of the smallest Four Seasons hotels in the world.
This intimate resort is ideal for both couples and families who will enjoy a full-service spa, several outdoor pools, and a fully supervised Kids for All Seasons program.
On-site dining options include Truss Restaurant and Bar with its wide terrace overlooking the pools and surrounding hills and casual lounge that is a hotspot frequented by both the local community and regular visitors to Napa.
A must for wine lovers and those who seek warmth and sunshine, the luxury Four Seasons Napa Valley combines the beauty of the California wine country with the reliable Four Seasons level of luxury. The resort lies within a sprawling 5.6-acres of vineyard with immaculate Four Seasons communal areas and beautifully large bathrooms. The almost unmatched levels of Four Seasons service can be enjoyed in Napa Valley.
Wherever you are in the world, Four Seasons hotels are consistently one of the best hotels or resort in the area.
