It shouldn’t be that hard to produce a great case for the hold, and yet manufacturer after manufacturer produces crappy cases. Ones that twist like a ballet dancer when they navigate the curb resulting in a backward case rolling uncontrolled into the nearest gutter! So many are SO heavy they eat into your luggage allowance, and for me, my absolute worst suitcase offender was my last case, which had velcro all over the inside, just where you put your delicate clothes. My first choice offers a suitcase to fall in love with. Thule cases really help to make luxury travel easy. They are so very light and work so well. The rollers don’t jam, and the suitcase stays stable behind you as you pull it along, even when you mount curbs.
Thule is a Swedish-based company that knows its stuff, probably because suitcases are just one small cog of their range of creations. They develop all sorts of products so that those who buy them can live an active life a little easier, much like a Dyson Vacuum. I particularly their jogging strollers, which are of no use to me now our boy is 8 but would have been an incredible asset when our boy was younger.
