Book A Stay

Regular readers we know we are huge fans of new innovations in luxury travel so we were very excited to hear about Tribe who have recently opened a new boutique hotel in Perth. They offer something special and unique; a design-led hotel, social space and workspace which retains the luxury but does away with unnecessary frills. Perfect for the modern luxury traveller basically!

Location

Tribe Perth is located on the doorstep of the trendy urban hub that is Perth CBD. This hotel is conveniently based next door to Kings Park and is just minutes away from some of the city’s premier restaurants, bars and tourist attractions. The hotel is just 15km from Perth Airport which takes around 22 minutes by car. To explore the city, the nearest Transperth Citybound Bus Stop is just 50m from the hotel, or better still, borrow one of their bikes and explore on two wheels instead.

Style & Character

The hotel is design driven and very contemporary. It has been brought together by some of Australia’s leading designers. The end result is urban, chic and very funky whilst also being very comfortable. Think clean lines, lots of neon and lots of gorgeous accessories; you risk filing your Instagram in seconds!

Service & Facilities

The hotel boasts a fabulous, huge living zone. This is central to Tribe’s philosophy. A stylish space where you can work, relax, plug in your laptop, pour over a glossy read from the well-stocked library, have a business meeting over a coffee or just catch up with a friend. The epitome of how contemporary travel should be. Watch this space too, Tribe Adelaide and Tribe Hobart are due to join the gang in 2019. By cutting unnecessary extras but still retaining the luxury edge, Tribe manage to offer their stunning hotels at an affordable price.

The staff are exceptional and really add to the vibe; efficient and super friendly they clearly know exactly what customer service should be about.

Rooms

The 126 rooms all have free Wi-Fi, signature beds, smart TVs, floor to ceiling windows and all the expected mod cons for a super deluxe stay. They give you a very comfortable private space but don’t have unnecessary bells and whistle; so, no trouser press, no four-poster bed, just exactly what you need and buckets of style. Choose from the Tribe Comfort Room (cosy but perfectly formed), the Tribe City View Room (to gaze over West Perth’s skyline) or the Tribe Park View Room (perfect for contemplative Kings Park views).

Food & Drink

With such a social environment it’s no surprise that there are several ways to eat and drink. By day Tribe Foods is a café where you can get a coffee, tuck into a hearty breakfast, a healthy lunch and enjoy a delicious treat on the side too! There’s a communal dining space where you can share a meal and then head to the hip bar for a beer or even better a crafted cocktail in the lounge or out on the terrace.
