Book A Hotel

I adore finding new and slightly quirky experiences when I’m on my luxury travels; something to look back on and smile and this is certainly the case with the truly unique chance to have Dinner in the Sky in the heart of Athens in Greece!

About your Flight

This extraordinary adventure really has to be seen to be believed! You are whisked 50 meters into the sky up into the sky and dine over the city of Athens! Each ‘flight’ takes a single table of 22 people, along with your experienced chefs. As the sun fades around you and the nightlife of Athens awakens, your table slowly rotates, so slowly it’s almost not noticeable, this is an elegant meal not a thrill ride! The rotation gives you the chance to catch a glimpse of all the best views. You can see the sculpturally lit Acropolis, the surrounding mountains, the sea and of course the Athenian cityscape.

Food & Drink

Your chefs create a delicious 5 course gourmet feast with modern tastes inspired by traditional Greek flavours. The cuisine is perfectly complimented by delicious Greek wines and your meal includes unlimited wine, beer and soft drinks. Your menu could include delights such as Ouzo Cured Salmon: with Mi-Cuit with baby beets, Slow-cooked Beef Tenderloin: with oak-smoked white eggplant, herb infused potato bar, petimezi drops or Cherry Tomato Salad: with feta cheese quenelle, cucumber spaghetti, yellow pepper, mint-chive dressing & sesame bagel from Thessaloniki; delicious! The menu can be adjusted to meet specific dietary preferences so just let them know when you book if this applies to you.

Service

The staff are amazing and you receive excellent customer service. They are professional but understandably love their job and their enthusiasm is infectious! Even the chefs are engaging and fun.

The Details

Dinner in the Sky is located within Technopolis at Gazi district. Rather than being age restricted, your height is significant; they need to be able to secure you safely in your seat, so the minimum height is 120cm which means you can bring children as long as they are tall enough. Dress as you would for a smart meal in a lovely restaurant, just don’t forget it might be slightly chiller up there so a lightweight jacket or a pashmina for your shoulders wouldn’t go amiss! And if you need to use the bathroom, just ask your crew and they will glide the table back to the ground for you. If you’re nervous about heights, don’t worry, most people find once they’re up they feel so secure that the height isn’t a problem, but worst case they will save your food for you to have once you’re back on firmer ground!
