Book A Stay

Discerning visitors to Vietnam’s stunning Mekong Delta must check out the beautiful, boutique Victoria Nui Sam Lodge. The lodge has great facilities, beautiful bungalows and an envied position that enjoys views across the entire valley.

Location

The hotel is nestled against the side of the Nui Sam mountain, in the heart of the Mekong Delta region of Vietnam. It enjoys epic and seemingly endless views over the paddy fields stretching for miles, all the way to Cambodia. The spiritual mountain is home to countless ethnic pagodas and temples that are well worth visiting. The hotel loans bicycles which are perfect for exploring the countryside, don’t miss the fish farms and stilt house villages. Nearby Chau Doc is also home to one of the most famous Buddhist temples in Vietnam: The Lady Xu temple, which attracts more than 5 million pilgrims each year. Another must see in the area is the bird sanctuary of Tra Su Forest: a cajuput tree forest, similar to a mangrove, where you will be able to admire the migrating birds.

Style & Character

The lodge is designed to fit seamlessly into its environment and to enhance rather than glare from the mountain. The bungalows themselves have a rustic, country appeal with cool tile floors and wooden furnishings.

Service & Facilities

The definite star attraction of the hotel is the pool. It is one of the most scenic infinity pools in all of Vietnam and enjoys unobstructed views over the surrounding valley. It is a heavenly place to swim, take a yoga or tai chi session, or just quite simply to relax beside. The surrounding lush gardens are packed with aromatic herbs, spices, flowers and vegetables and well worth exploring. The hotel provides a free shuttle bus to and from sister hotel Victoria Chau Doc hotel in the city centre which is just over 4 miles away. As well as a range of local excursions and activities including Tai Chi, cookery classes and a wonderful traditional music show.

Rooms

Stay in one of 40 stone-built bungalows, all with a private terrace or balcony overlooking the paddy fields. Choose from Superior Bungalows, Family Bungalows with connecting rooms which are fab for travelling families or Deluxe Bungalows. Discerning travellers will want to opt for the Deluxe Bungalows; although all the rooms are beautiful they offer a lot more space, dramatic high ceilings and oversized terraces.

Food & Drink

Dine at the La Giang Restaurant and tuck into Vietnamese and Western cuisine and choose your position from inside, where the huge floor to ceiling windows give you 180-degree views over the valley below or dine alfresco on the wraparound terrace or in the adjacent gazebo featuring 360-degree views. There is also the Sky Pool Bar set alongside the infinity pool which serves juices, cocktails and light snacks with a large side serving of more stunning views!
