Book A Stay

Memoire Palace Resort & Spa couldn’t be better located to explore the wonders of the ancient Angkor Temples, but it’s not just its location that makes it such a fabulous hotel. It is a beautiful burst of color and style with the most awe-dropping pool with, my favorite part here, a swim-up bar right in the center!

Location

The newly opened Memoire Palace Resort & Spa is located just 10 minutes away from the famed Angkor Temples in Siem Reap, the delightful town that serves as the gateway to Angkor. You are also 10 minutes from Siem Reap International Airport, and they even lay on complimentary roundtrip airport transfers to make your life that bit easier.

Style & Character

To say this hotel is stylish would be an understatement. The vivid, sophisticated use of color really stands out. The architecture is contemporary, and you are reminded of your location by the stunning traditional art that adorns the place. The pools seemed to flow between the buildings in a way that was reminiscent to me of Venice in Italy!

Service & Facilities

So that pool! Well, first of all, the swimming pools here are huge. You can choose from saltwater or freshwater. They are surrounded by stunning lush gardens, and the swim-up bar is literally encircled by the pool. It’s really quite incredible and makes this such a fun spot to return to after a hot day soaking up the marvel that is Angkor. To truly indulge, book a treatment at the Memoria Spa, or if you’re feeling like holing up in your own space, let them come to you and carry out the treatment in the privacy of your suite. You can also take a yoga class, a cookery class, or take a tour of Angkor Wat.

The attentive staff are professional and welcoming and seem to genuinely want to help you, no matter how big or small your request may be.

Rooms

It’s all Suites rather than simply rooms here. Take your pick from Junior or Grand Garden Suites, or if you’d prefer to be poolside, opt for a Superior or Grand Pool Suite. All the suites are stunning and offer a patio, balcony, or terrace, as well as a luxury bathroom that includes both a bathtub and a rain shower. For a special occasion, consider the vast and very luxurious 2-bedroom Royal Family Suite, which also includes 2 bathrooms.

Food & Drink

Dining is also a rather special experience at Memoire Palace. You have two restaurants and a pool bar to choose from. I’ve rather covered the Mohanoti Pool Bar already, but where food is concerned, it’s the perfect location for a light snack, too. For your other meals, head to the all-day dining venue Aha Udom, designed to feel like a great Khmer wooden house you can dine inside or al fresco on the large patio. Your meal is prepared in the kitchen and finished at your table, served with an inspiring story. And then there’s THE STAGE 1960’s. It’s billed not even as a restaurant but quite literally as a stage. An unforgettable dining experience that takes you on somewhat of a culinary journey in true Memoire Palace-style!
