Book A Stay

Where better to stay on a visit to the beautiful city of Cape Town in South Africa than the chic boutique Cape Heritage Hotel which is located in the very heart of the city.

Location

Cape Heritage Hotel lies in Cape Town’s trendy Heritage Square and is an integral part of the delightfully restored square with its shady central courtyard and 18th-century roots. You are perfectly placed to explore all that Cape Town has to offer; its vibrant street life, business district, shopping, fine dining, and of course, the majestic Table Mountain and its stunning National Park.

Style & Character

The intimate hotel reflects Cape Town’s diverse cultural heritage inside and out. The interior has a fabulous mix of contemporary and historic, with high-beamed teak ceilings, 200-year old Cape yellowwood floors, burnished hardwood, exposed original wall niches, and murals creating a rich, sophisticated space packed with character.

Service & Facilities

Despite your very central location, you can still catch a wonderful view of Table Mountain from the hot tub on the rooftop terrace, the perfect spot to relax after a busy day pounding the streets of Cape Town. Central city hotels can mean it’s tricky to find parking, but here all guests are entitled to complimentary parking, which eliminates a huge hassle!

The welcome is a very warm one, and the service continues in the same vein; the staff are friendly, hospitable, and very kind.

Rooms

The hotel comprises of fifteen bedrooms, two suites, and three apartments. Each is individually decorated, and all are different shapes and sizes, so rather than choosing from an amenities list, you very much choose your favorite look and feel. The amenities are good anyway. As you would expect from a luxury travel hotel, you have air-conditioning, a minibar, free Wi-Fi, king-size beds (though these are extra-long), satellite TV, and very useful international power points. Some of the rooms have four-poster beds, and in others, you can enjoy a free-standing tub in your ensuite. The suites are that bit larger with a separate entertainment area. The trendy apartments are fully equipped with a lounge and fully equipped kitchen, and a balcony with beautiful rooftop views of the city and Table Mountain.

Food & Drink

Start the day with a complimentary buffet breakfast in the breakfast room or, even better, under the ancient vine in the courtyard; even the food is more interesting than the norm. It includes inventive pastries, French Toast, and organic smoothies. You can also order picnic baskets to take out with you on your local adventures. Your location in Heritage Square means that some of the best restaurants in the city are literally on your doorstep, ask your hosts for recommendations and be sure to book a table; they are popular!
