I want my hair to look utterly fabulous, whether I’m at home or travelling, so when I saw the headline: “the effortless way to seriously good hair”, my interest was well and truly sparked! Behind the headline, I discovered the brand, Percy & Reed; owners of two London salons and creators of a rather wonderful range of hair products.
Location
You’ll find one salon in West End and the other in the East End. The West End salon is located on Great Portland Street in London, a short walk from Oxford Street, Fitzrovia and Marylebone Village. The nearest tube is Great Portland Street, but Oxford Circus tube is only a 7-minute walk too; perfectly located to combine a bit of shopping with your haircut! The second salon is nestled in Spitalfields, East London and is just a short walk from both Liverpool Street and Aldgate East tube stations.
The Brand
When you first encounter Percy & Reed, with their cool salons and quirky, charming, very British approach you could be forgiven for thinking it’s a rather light-hearted brand, but behind this is a collective 50 years of professional hairdressing expertise. Percy & Reed was created by two of London’s leading hairdressers, Paul Percival and Adam Reed. After decades jet-setting around the world, tending to the locks of the famous and glamorous, they felt that familiar pull home and the desire to offer all that they have learned to London’s (and indeed the world’s) masses! Now their two salons, and the product range deliver cutting-edge, every-day style, that they pride themselves on being affordable too. The Salons
The West End Salon has a calm ambience; a place to come to escape the madness. There’s an open plan, warmly-lit space on the ground floor for cutting and styling, on the mezzanine, is a quieter area for technical services and there’s a light controlled ‘Green Room’ for all treatment services The East End Salon is a cool, contemporary space with some fabulous retro design features, like the 50’s Danish cutting stations and a vintage TV!
The Products
The Percy & Reed product range take all the knowledge from styling celebrities and working backstage at fashion shows and turns it into a wonderful product range for you and me. The indispensable, high-quality products give foolproof results effortlessly. Top tip; their Abundantly Bouncy Volumising Mousse works wonders on my curly mane!
Mix & Match Minis Travel Offer
