The Manor Weston Near Bicester is a charming, historic English country house sat in lovely country gardens with swathes of lawns up an impressive tree lined driveway. This hotel would be the perfect setting for an Agatha Christie style murder mystery. In fact, you can enjoy a delicious afternoon tea on the terrace and then wear off the calories with a lazy game of croquet on the lawns, or a more energetic game of tennis in the grounds. You can even take in a Polo match at nearby Kirtlington. Yes, this hotel is the epitome of Britishness!

Location

Set in 12 acres of mature gardens and grounds, The Manor at Weston On The Green is close to the A34 and M40 and is situated within 15 minutes drive from the town of Bicester which has a large and well known outlet mall called Bicester Village. the centre of Oxford is just 15 minutes away and there is a pub called the Black Sheep a short walk away for a cheeky pint.

Style & Character

The Manor is set behind a big iron gates up a gravel driveway. When you reach the house you enter through the big wooden door. Parts of the house date back to the 12th century so you can smell the history. Expect to see old family portraits on the walls and roaring fires in the historic fire places.

The inner courtyard offers a fire pit and the lavender-filled gardens are the perfect place for a stroll. To one side the gardens, there is a Coach House, which is another part of the hotel, and next to this is a lovely sheltered seated area and swimming pool flanked with sun loungers.

Rooms at the The Manor Weston are historic and come with creeky floorboards, adding to the ambiance. They are furnished with antiques and classic decor.
