Four Seasons Hotels and Resorts Downtown New York property is now officially open. Designed by Yabu Pushelberg, the new Four Seasons Hotel New York Downtown is located in the city’s Tribeca neighborhood, steps away from the World Trade Center.
The impressive two-story lobby at this new Four Seasons showcases layers of architectural elements which reflect the ever-evolving urban landscape just outside. Floors are made up of a creamy-shite stone, softened with thick carpets and stunning artwork which is displayed against dark wood walls and metal screens.
The 189 Hotel rooms and suites designed by Soho and Toronto-based design studio Yabu Pushelberg are a mix of pastel blues, greys and taupes and are filled with natural light. Marble bathrooms that represent everything that is Four Seasons include deep soaking tubs, and rooms range in size from 400 to 2,400 square feet (37 to 223 square metres).
“Downtown New York has been reborn as the most vibrant neighbourhood in city,” says Peter Humig, general manager Four Seasons Hotel New York Downtown. “It’s no longer simply a business district. You can feel the energy the minute you arrive, and we are proud to be in the heart of it.”
Cut by Wolfgang Puck is the chef’s first Manhattan location and the main restaurant at the hotel. Additionally, a new room service concept has been designed by Executive Chef Shaun Acosta, featuring flexible menus and tableware pieces by local artisans.
Four Seasons Hotel New York Downtown is the ideal base for exploring the new Lower Manhattan. Located in Tribeca just steps from Wall Street, the World Trade Center and the new Oculus. It’s perfect to enjoy designer shopping, Broadway and the intoxicating nightlife in the Meatpacking District.
