Book A Stay

For luxury in the truest sense of the word; let me present Dream Phuket Hotel & Spa. This is one hotel that totally lives up to its name – achingly stylish, stunning pools, a Sanctuary spa, fine dining, and perhaps most excitingly; a completely fabulous Dream Beach – it really is a dream! If your idea of holiday heaven is relaxation with a touch of partying and a whole lot of style, this is the place for you. Should you wish to leave the hotel, you have the breath-taking island of Phuket at your fingertips but I’m really not sure you’ll be able to tear yourself away from Dream Phuket! Flights to Phuket International Airport generally take around 13 hours; BA flies from London Heathrow, with a brief stopover in Bangkok, at just 12 hours and 40 minutes.

Hotel
The 5-Star, award-winning Dream Phuket is surrounded by lush mountains overlooking the Andaman Sea with stunning beaches all around. The décor is fresh and very contemporary; with stone and wood complementing the gorgeous greenery around the beautiful freeform pool; but it’s the incredible use of lighting that I really noticed; the pool seems to glow by night and whether it’s the communal areas or the rooms themselves; clever and very hip lighting has been used throughout.

Rooms
There are 174 rooms, suites, and villas; all include a flat-screen TV, complimentary high-speed internet, blackout curtains (very useful after partying late into the night!), 24-hour in-room dining, rain showers, and stunning freestanding stone bathtubs. For the more discernible traveler, you’ll be spoilt for choice when the accommodation includes swim-up suites, penthouse rooms with private Jacuzzis, and private villas. I would recommend treating yourself and going for a Sky Pool Suite – on the top floor, your private pool gives the most perfect views and for an occasional night off partying is the ideal spot to watch the stars with a glass or two of champagne.

Restaurants & Bars
For your dining pleasure, a wide mix of cuisines awaits you; from Thai to Tuscan to New York Grill at the main restaurant – Trilogy, which includes a show kitchen with a live theatre vibe! The rather exquisite VU is a rooftop bar with an infinity pool and sensational views of the mountains; a tempting cocktail menu, Thai delicacies and a weekend BBQ keep you refreshed while you watch the sunset. For a relaxed, lounge ambiance, Indulge offers bespoke cocktails, vintage whiskeys, brandies, and cigars amid a sea of soft leather and wood. A swim-up Pool Bar offers a range of beverages including more of those delicious cocktails and the option to dine right from the poolside.

Pool & Activities
The only place you’re really going to want to travel once you’re at the hotel is the 2-minute shuttle down to the multi-story Dream Beach. With an enviable and growing reputation, think residencies with the Ministry of Sound and Hed Kandi – this is where you need to be. The fabulous pool parties and nightclub events will keep you entertained, while expansive sunbeds, 2 pools plus of course the beautiful beach will aid your relaxation. For some post-partying relaxation, there’s nowhere better than Sanctuary spa. Traditional Thai treatments leave you perfectly rejuvenated and ready to hit Dream Beach all over again!

The hotel runs a shuttle service to Patong and other excursions can be arranged; you’ll find the beautiful Khao Phra Thaeo National Park nearby and also Royal Phuket Marina where you can take a boat for some island-hopping.

Dream Hotels really have done it again: if high-end luxury in a tropical paradise, where you relax all day and party by night is your thing; then I have no doubt that this is the place to be and to be seen.
