Park Hyatt Zanzibar Review

Reviews : Accommodation

It is no secret that I am a massive Park Hyatt fan and the sparkling new Park Hyatt in Zanzibar, Tanzania is definitely on my to do list.

This beachfront property offers spacious, elegant guestrooms, many with magnificent views of Dhow harbours and the Indian Ocean and all their suites offer private balconies.

Explore the captivating charm and faded grandeur of Stone Town, with its ladyrinth of winding alleys, bustling markets, mosques and colourful streets, filled with the rich aromas of spices, perfumes and local handcrafts. Refresh at the oceanfront infinity pool, facing the local beach. Rejuvenate with holistic therapies and spa treatments at the Anantara Spa and escape from the hustle and bustle in an exquisite retreat, an intimate sanctuary offering guests unparalleled experiences. Savour authentic culinary delights at the Zamani Residence, a unique dining concept offering spectacular cuisine.

We like the Bahari terrace overlooking the sea, the oceanfront infinity pool and the way the modern rooms merge perfectly with the classic ancient building. You could easily combine a stay at this Park Hyatt with it’s history and local town and a stay at a Maldives-style beach resort further up the coast.

In celebration of their opening, you can enjoy a 30% discount off the Hyatt Daily Rate on all Park rooms, Park View rooms and Park Deluxe rooms for all stays until 31 August 2015.
