Book A Stay

Nestled on the pristine shores of Saint Barthélemy, the luxurious five-star Hôtel Manapany, St Barths embodies exclusivity and sustainability. As a proud member of the B Signature Hotels & Resorts Collection, this eco-resort offers a luxury Caribbean retreat dedicated to sustainable and responsible tourism practices.

Location

Ideally located in the heart of Saint Barthélemy, Hôtel Manapany’s five-star address allows you to enjoy the charm of this magical island fully. It lies on the relatively untouched white-sandy, palm-fringed Anse des Cayes Bay in the heart of the Caribbean. It’s the only hotel located on this stretch of sand and lies just a 10-minute drive from Gustavia, the main town and capital of the island of Saint Barthélemy. From here, you’re just two and a half kilometers from the island’s most popular beach, St. Jean Beach, which is best known for its powder-white sands and calm waters, perfect for swimming and sailing. This is a secluded and idyllic sanctuary where intimacy and joy intertwine seamlessly.

To get here, you will need to fly via Princess Juliana Airport in St. Maarten, which has incoming flights from destinations all around the globe. From here, you will take a short 10-minute flight to Gustaf III Airport (AKA Rémy de Haenen Airport), which is just a quick five-minute drive from the hotel in one of the hotel’s e-cars that are provided for all guests. If you prefer to arrive by water, then a ferry service runs from Marigot on the French side of St. Martin or from Simpson Bay and Philipsburg on the Dutch side of St. Maarten, which takes around an hour, and the hotel offers complimentary collection from the harbor.

Style & Character

This five-star, environmentally-conscious luxury hotel and spa showcases an island where rejuvenation is a way of life. The hotel sits somewhere between an environmentally friendly boutique hotel in terms of facilities and a luxurious St. Barths villa in terms of exclusivity and chic, French, contemporary, coastal style.

Rooms lie hidden amidst clouds of frangipani, gently blowing palms, and bright bougainvillea. Wooden panels and smart French design greet you at every corner, while the facilities offer everything you need to overlook the fine-white-sandy wild beach and turquoise waters beyond.

Service & Facilities

Hôtel Manapany is large enough to offer everything you need in terms of facilities and yet small enough to offer the most friendly, personalized service.

The hotel features two swimming pools surrounded by wooden decks that are warm underfoot with umbrellas and loungers aplenty. There’s also an elegant boutique, two games rooms (one for adults and one for children), and a gym with a collection of Technogym cardio, strength, and functional equipment. The hotel itself sits on the Anse des Cayes beach, where guests can enjoy high-end beach service and serene ambiance whilst sipping a chilled cocktail with their feet in the water or even turning their hands to a little surfing. Further amenities include a reading room, dry-cleaning and laundry, and free Wi-Fi.

Guests can request Manapany picnics for gourmet, private moments on the beach with freshly baked bread, dips, fruits, and tasty desserts. And if you wish to venture further afield, the hotel team remains at your disposal for tour and activity bookings and recommendations.

The Manapany Spa, facing the sea, is a temple dedicated to relaxation, where natural light blends with raw materials and soft fabrics. Expert therapists in private and double treatment rooms offer a collection of bio-aesthetic, organic treatments by Dr. Hauschka, as well as holistic therapies, honoring local heritage that combine with avant-garde techniques to bring the ultimate in relaxation. The Manapany follows an optimal water treatment protocol that does not use any chemicals, and this is even present in the spa, where the line of products is 100% natural.

A typical day here would have you wake up and take a short stroll to the spa’s sun deck to take part in a complimentary yoga and pilates session or wander on the hotel’s wild beach with white sands slipping between your toes and the warmth of the Caribbean sunshine on your shoulders. Afterward, lounge beside one of the hotel’s two sparkling pools before dining on fresh, local culinary delights with your feet in the warm sands looking out to sea with a colorful cocktail in hand.

Rooms

Hôtel Manapany offers 43 spacious rooms, including six suites and two villas, each with a private sundeck and views of the Caribbean Sea. There are 16 different styles of rooms, suites, VIP suites, Family Suites, and Villas to pick between, and in keeping with the rest of the hotel, the rooms are designed in an eco-friendly style using tropical and reclaimed woods intertwined with local touches and bursts of vibrant color. Room amenities include flatscreen TVs, Nespresso coffee machines, tea-making kits, minibars, air-conditioning, and B Signature bath products.

Our favorites are the Panoramic Suites, which are located at the top of the property with incredible 180° views of the ocean from their expansive terraces with loungers and sumptuously soft sofas, and Villa Créole, a spacious two-level villa that sits directly on the beach, perfect for families and larger groups, with two bedrooms each with a bathroom and an open-plan living area with kitchen, dining area, and large sun deck to socialize on.

Food & Drink

The hotel offers two unique dining experiences. Firstly, Sandy Beach, with its feet in the sand and a bar facing the sea where you can enjoy signature cocktails amongst the tropical ocean breeze. Secondly, the Rockies bistronomic restaurant blends the essence of the Caribbean with Mediterranean sophistication in a setting offering breathtaking ocean views. The Manapany bar, open from 6:00 pm to midnight, serves a delicious collection of libations with fabulous views of Anse des Caye Bay.

Guests can also enjoy Brasero Lunch and music every Sunday for a gourmet feast of dishes prepared over an open fire accompanied by live music, and in the afternoons at the weekends, be carried away by the sounds of local musicians in a unique atmosphere while enjoying delicious tapas, chilled cocktails and a round of pétanque in the sunshine. Round-the-clock room service is also available.

Conclusion

Hôtel Manapany offers a luxurious and eco-conscious retreat, seamlessly blending chic French coastal style with breathtaking beachfront views. Whether you’re drawn by indulgent ocean-view spa treatments, gourmet dining experiences, or the allure of spacious and lavish accommodations, your stay promises to be a friendly, personalized, and tranquil escape.
