Book A Stay

Pratello is a small 18th-century hamlet located in the center of a 320-hectare wildlife park with woodlands, olive groves, and unique views. The Pratello area is mentioned in a law dated 8th November 1044, kept in the State Archives in Pisa. Since those days, many noble families have owned this estate. The main villa was built in 1650 and is a stunning hotel today.

Style & Character

The heart of Pratello Country Resort is the precious garden, a jewel of architecture and nature built in the classic Tuscan style. The green design creates charming natural geometries where you can discover green corners and patches of the wonderful landscape. Olive groves, fields, hills, and forests are the natural frame of the most romantic corner of Pratello, where you can admire enchanting sunsets. The infinity pool, with views of rolling Tuscan hills, is available for guests of the Resort every day until sunset. Next to the pool is the Pool Bar, where you can have drinks and a light lunch.

Service & Facilities

Tuscany is excellent for all types of outdoor sports. There are mountain bikes to explore. You can trek, play tennis on the synthetic grass tennis court or go to the nearby equestrian center for horseback riding. Indoor activities include billiards, cooking classes, and pasta classes. Golfers can enjoy an 18-hole golf court at about 10km at Castelfalfi Golf Club. In addition, about 50 minutes from the Resort, there is the renowned Montecatini Golf Club. Not far from the Resort, there are the Casciana thermal baths, where you can enjoy a relaxing massage, various beauty treatments, a spa, sauna, and Turkish bath.

Nature lovers can take walking or jeep-assisted photography tours. Wildlife subjects include deers, fallow deers, hares, foxes, and many species living free in the Pratello Estate. You can also tour one or more of the area’s many farmhouses, wineries, oil mills, and cheese factories to taste the fabulous Tuscan wines, olive oil, cheeses, salamis, and wineries to try Montalcino, Bolgheri, or the Chianti area.

The most famous Italian clothing brands can be found even at bargain prices at some shopping centers in Tuscany. You can shop for the most famous brands, like Prada, Dolce e Gabbana, and Gucci, in the town of Forte Dei Marmi by the seaside. Near Florence, a big outlet called “The Mall” also offers international name brands at lower prices.

Finally, the private airport with a 1000-meter-long runway at Pratello Country Resort means you can easily reach the resort by airplane or by helicopter by landing at this exclusive airport. They provide a shuttle service to and from the Villa and a hangar where pilots can keep their planes for a long or short period.

You can try all the region’s typical dishes prepared with organic ingredients in the beautiful dining room or outdoors, in the romantic atmosphere of a terrace under the stars. The cellar offers a good selection of Chianti Classico, Chianti Riserva wines, and Super Tuscans, such as Tignanello. Brunello di Montalcino, Nobile di Montepulciano and a small selection of white wines to complete it.
