Book A Stay

Just as much as I enjoy traveling and staying in chic little boutique hotels around the world, there is something to be said for the reassuring sanctity and comfort of a luxury hotel with an excellent reputation, and it doesn’t get more elegant than the Lotte Hotel Moscow.

Location

Located on Novinskiy Boulevard in the very heart of Moscow, this luxurious destination hotel was opened in 2010 with 300 spacious rooms and suites (including the largest Royal Suite in the city, which takes up a whole floor), two highly respected restaurants; six conference halls, an exclusive Club Floor, the world-famous Mandara Spa and a state-of-the-art fitness center with pool.

Conveniently located a few kilometers from main rail stations, a comfortable drive from Moscow’s International Airports, and just a 15-minute walk from main city sights, shopping, and entertainment, this hotel has everything at your fingertips.

Style & Character

There are bigger hotels around the world, but the larger they get, the more impersonal they are, seemingly losing all their warmth and personality as they grow in size. Delightfully, however, the Lotte Hotel Moscow offers its guests real opulence combined with an ultra-modern sophisticated style that still somehow manages to retain all of its charms.

Rooms

All the guestrooms and suites at the Lotte Hotel Moscow are incredibly spacious, with exquisite interiors and fabulous views over downtown Moscow. Each room features king-size or twin beds, a generous living area, a TV and DVD player, complimentary Wi-Fi, and a marble bathroom with Molton Brown amenities (though these change to gorgeous BVLGARI amenities in the suites!).

The hotel has six suites which range from the contemporary and stylish Atrium Suite to the larger and more classically styled Presidential and Royal Suites, which offer additional living spaces in the form of a study, library, meeting room, kitchen, private bar, oversized marble bathroom with Jacuzzi bath (the Royal Suite also has its own private sauna), and spectacular views over the downtown Moscow skyline (through bulletproof glass windows no less in the Royal Suite!).

As you know, I love to find a Club Lounge or Executive Club Level in any hotel I stay in, and the Lotte Hotel Moscow doesn’t disappoint. If you book a room on the exclusive Club Floor, you will benefit from complimentary access to their Club Lounge, which features several seating areas, a library, an office area, and meeting rooms as well as perks like express check-in and out, buffet breakfast, snacks throughout the day and “happy hour”; plus complimentary pressing of two garments and an overnight shoeshine service to boot!

Service & Facilities

As you would expect, there is a vast array of facilities on offer at the Lotte Hotel Moscow, including a state-of-the-art business center, beauty salon, money exchange, and underground car parking. However, the Spa and Fitness Centre are worthy of special mention.

The award-winning Mandara Spa is an oasis of calm and tranquillity featuring a relaxation lounge and hydrotherapy area with a Jacuzzi, silk bath, hammam, and sauna. The spa offers both rejuvenating facial and deeply relaxing body treatments delivered with traditional Asian and sophisticated modern spa techniques for the ultimate spa experience. Tip: Try the unique Oxygen Therapy Massage designed to boost your immune system and promote cell regeneration.

Finally, the fitness center is a focused environment, equipped with all the latest fitness machines that you would expect as well as a swimming pool, Jacuzzi, relaxation zone, retail area, and fully trained fitness experts at your disposal.

Food & Drink

As well as the excellent dining in Moscow itself, the hotel has two first-class dining options: the refined and elegant MENU restaurant offers delicious classical Mediterranean dishes with a modern twist, and the contemporary and trendy MEGU Japanese restaurant from New York delivers fine organic dining with a blend of traditional and modern Japanese delicacies. Tip: Try the sushi bar with its open kitchen whilst enjoying one of their many sakes from their extensive wine and sake list.

If you would rather enjoy a little more informal dining, then the stylish Lounge bar offers a good selection of food and drinks complimented with live entertainment and meticulous service, or if the weather permits, try the outdoor Terrace bar (open May-Oct), which provides drinks and cocktails overlooking the magnificent rooftops of Moscow.

Conclusion

A stay at Lotte Hotel Moscow offers you relaxation in an opulent environment with delicious haute cuisine, award-winning spa therapies, and impeccable service, so whether you’re in Moscow on business or pleasure, a stop here is not to be missed.
