Review: Hotel Le Marianne Champs Elysees

Book A Stay

Hotel Le Marianne Champs Elysees is the very image of Paris: both steeped in history and firmly rooted in its time.

Prestigiously located just off the Champs Elysées and Avenue Montaigne, which are home to the world’s most luxurious brands, it is also nearby to the boutiques of rue du Faubourg-Saint Honoré and the big department stores of Haussmann Boulevard.

Culture and history buffs are just a short walk away from magnificent monuments like the Grand Palais, Arc de Triomphe, the Tour Eiffel, and the Louvre. The hotel is also very well served by public transportation (bus, metro, train), as well as taxis. There is easy access to Porte Maillot and La Défense.

Style & Character

Le Marianne hotel is housed in a beautiful building from the Haussmann period, which has been transformed into a modern and comfortable hotel in a chic, contemporary style that embodies French savoir-faire and joie de vivre. After a long day of work, sightseeing, or shopping, you will enjoy coming home to the luxury of its facilities and service.

The tone is set from the moment you set foot in the hotel. Your eyes are drawn to the ceiling, from which hangs a magnificent chandelier in gilded brass, designed by the artist Johana Grawunder. To the left, the reception counter in Pozzano marble is illuminated by a golden metal fabric designed by Sophie Malebranche.

A painting by Bernard Frize from the owner’s personal collection provides a fitting homage to contemporary art. To the right, the lobby is a study in sober and soothing hues of anthracite, white, and celadon. Everything here is the creation of Charles Zana: the marble and brass console, the armchairs, the mural bookcase, and the mirror which hangs above the fireplace – each piece a homage to the Italian masters of design who inspire the artist.

Each room is a little cocoon: a meticulously finished living space that brings together quality materials and studied design. Leather and velvet in shades of emerald blue and gold complement each other and contrast with the sober hues of the walls to create a sophisticated yet restful ambiance. Rooms are reached by a lift decorated with a unique golden metal fabric created by Sophie Malebranche.

Retreat day or night to these rooms, boasting the hotel’s trademark classic/cutting-edge fusion. This snug space enchants with wood floors, crown molding, and quirky custom illustrations. Rooms are equipped with airplay technology to connect smartphones and TV via Bluetooth. International electricity outlets, multimedia connections (HDMI and USB), individual thermostats for heating and cooling, the usual safe, minibar, hairdryer, bathrobes and slippers, tea and coffee-making facilities, etc.

The taupe wood of the spacious dressing area marries harmoniously with the bathroom’s beige-grey, cream, and black marble. The headboards on the bed are covered in rich fabrics with lozenge, pointillist, or striped motifs, giving each room its unique identity. The bathrooms are adorned with toiletries by Pascal Morabito.

The Classic Rooms are 16 m² and either overlook the street or the courtyard with a Parisian view. Marble bathrooms have walk-in showers, and the rooms are equipped with a large dressing room. The similar but larger Superior Rooms are 18 m² to 20 m². Deluxe Rooms are larger once again at 23 m², and the marble bathrooms have a bathtub as well as a walk-in shower and a larger dressing room.

Food & Drink

While there is no official restaurant here, breakfast is delivered next to the lobby in the invigorating light of their tree-lined patio. The breakfast offers a wide range of sweet and savory items, vitamin-rich fruits and juices, and enticing breads and pastries that you can enjoy to your heart’s content.

Treat yourself to an unforgettable stay just minutes from the Champs-Elysées. Le Marianne Paris is the perfect chic pied-à-terre in enchanting Paris.
