Book A Stay

The luxury Hyatt Regency Sharm El Sheikh Resort (which features in our 5 best resorts Sharm El Sheikh) is one of the best luxury hotels in the area with outstanding views and access to 3 private beach coves, four good-sized pools, and one of the most spectacular diving sites in the Sinai Peninsula, Gardens Bay.

Location

The luxury Hyatt Regency Sharm El Sheikh Resort is ideally situated on the Sinai Peninsula, offering the warmth of summer all year round.

Style & Character

When you arrive, and throughout your stay, you can expect superb and welcoming service from every member of staff. Little touches make a real difference here; The Chef at the breakfast egg station might have 5-7 omelet cooking at any one time, but you can guarantee the next time you ask for an omelet, not only will he remember your name, but he will also remember the exact ingredients in the omelet that he prepared for you the previous day.  The waiters in Souk and Frescos, goes out of their way to teach kids to make flowers from napkins. There is not one member of staff who is not full of smiles.

Service & Facilities

This resort is spacious and well-designed, with four large pools, so there is always a comfy lounger where you can find peace and space. The grounds are well maintained, and if you meander down to one of the private beaches, the lively reef comes right to the shore, and you can paddle in the edge of the water and watch the colorful fish swimming around your feet, literally next to the beach. The three beaches are great during the day and at night. It’s fun to go crab spotting after dinner in the dark.

Other activities on offer include jeep safaris, camel expeditions, quad bikes, mountain treks, and even Bedouin-style tented dinners. Golf enthusiasts can enjoy a round or two on Sharm El Sheikh’s 18-hole course, while divers can discover the treasures of diving in Sharm El Sheikh.

The spa offers a variety of pampering treatments, or you can simply stretch out on a sun lounger and drink in the warm Egyptian sunshine all day long.

Rooms

Refurbished rooms are Mediterranean in style. Sea View rooms are the best choice with a nice balcony and a spacious 38 m² room, which includes a king-size bed, high-speed Internet, and marble bath with soaking tub, walk-in shower, and deluxe bath amenities.

Upgrading to the Regency Club is well worth the money. You will receive complimentary continental breakfast, evening cocktails, hors d’oeuvres as you would expect, and access to a private Regency pool and private Regency secluded beach. Both tend to be extremely quiet and secluded.

Food & Drink

The food at the Hyatt Regency Sharm El Sheikh is excellent. Sala Thai is particularly good and serves authentic Thai and Southeast Asian food. Cascades restaurant also comes highly recommended.
