Book A Stay

Four Seasons Resort and Residences Vail has undergone a comprehensive Resort enhancement project. Because staying in a newly refurbished hotel is always a delight, we think this makes Four Seasons Resort and Residences Vail your top hotel choice in Vail.

This reimagined hotel creates a fresh interpretation of the grand alpine resort, with a refined, contemporary, and sophisticated finish that you can see in more detail in the header and scroller of photos at the top of this article.

To get the best deal or discount at a Four Seasons hotel, book via our luxury travel concierge. Why We Love This Hotel

There’s little not to love! This retreat is sandwiched between stunning mountain vistas. It is the perfect place to celebrate the great outdoors and offers an award-winning Spa and outdoor pool where you can swim under the stars.

Location

Nestled at the base of Vail Mountain in the beautiful Colorado Rockies, Four Seasons Resort and Residences Vail offers guests the ideal location to take advantage of all the activities and adventure that the Vail Valley has to offer. The Resort is situated at the front door of the history-rich village of Vail, steeped in the pioneering spirit, with legendary Vail Mountain just steps away.

Best Time To Visit

When it’s snowing, Vail is hard to beat, but for refreshing mountain air and invigorating outdoor experiences, this resort is perfect at any time of year.

How To Get There

Located just thirty minutes from Eagle County Regional Airport (EGE) and Vail Valley Jet Center, and just under two hours from Denver International Airport (DEN), the Resort is easily accessible for travelers.

Style & Character

The multi-million-dollar complete renovation of Four Seasons Resort and Residences Vail phased over the past three years, marks the most significant investment the Resort has undergone since its inception in 2010. The result is a contemporary and sophisticated alpine look.

Enhancements include a refresh and remodel of all hotel guest rooms, suites and corridors; conversion and remodeling of several private residences; refreshed meeting space; and a redesigned lobby and all public spaces.

The tailored mountain modern design has incorporated clean, contemporary lines paired with organic textures and colors, complementary of Vail’s breath-taking mountain landscape. Local stone and wood have added mountain-chic touches to all of the fireplaces, while nature-inspired carpet, leathers, and textured fabrics have been combined to create a sophisticated resort feel.

Service & Facilities

Tucked away in a dip, the sheltered heated outdoor pool is a delightfully warm suntrap in the summer and a great place to swim as it snows in the winter. There are also two hot tubs to warm up in if the bracing weather chills you. There’s also an excellent and award-winning Spa.

Rooms

The building’s design elements have transformed the Vail property with a stylish, cool, mountain-chic makeover. Rooms offer a mix of rustic, oatmeal tomes, and even the base Resort View room offers a fireplace within the room, although we recommend the Mountain Premier or Deluxe rooms as these rooms offer a balcony and floor to ceiling windows.

In addition to a complete makeover of all guest rooms and suites, many of the individually-owned private residences in Four Seasons branded Private Retreats portfolio have been renovated as well. Boasting twenty-four private residences ranging from two- to six-bedrooms, each uniquely designed and beautifully appointed, making Four Seasons Residences Vail the ideal location for families, multi-generation travel, and groups of friends seeking comfortable, luxurious accommodation while enjoying the limitless adventure of Vail Mountain.

Food & Drink

There’s plenty of choice in the food and beverage arena ranging from bars to the legendary Flame restaurant.

The Remedy Bar is your fun apres-ski venue with uninterrupted mountain views, a range of cocktails, and a 165-inch TV for watching the latest sports event. You can also enjoy drinks on the patio with year-round firepits at The Remedy Bar.

The pool bar offers cocktails and light salads in the summer and hot cocoa and s’mores in the winter.

Flame is a brilliant mountain steakhouse specializing in an extensive menu of fresh steaks and dishes like Lobster Thermidor, Mac & Cheese, and Vegetarian Quinoa Risotto.
