The island of Korcula is the sixth largest island in Croatia and is known for its dense forest. It houses several great hotels, and we have outlined the best below.
Korcula Town is the main town on the island and is also known as “Little Dubrovnik” because of its medieval architecture and squares. Korcula island is less well-known than islands like Brac and Hvar, possibly because it’s further from Split or Dubrovnik, and the best ferry services only run in summer.
1. Hotel Lumbarda
Hotel Lumbarda is located in a sandy bay, surrounded by lush Mediterranean pines. Sitting on the south cape of Korcula island-Croatia, the location is unbeatable, and the hotel is surrounded by beautiful sandy beaches and lots of little islands.
The hotel has a swimming pool and is just steps from the beach with its crystal clear sea. It is also adjacent to the village of Lumbarda, which means that it’s easy for guests to walk to nearby bars, restaurants, and you can also rent boats nearby.

The buffet breakfast here is filling with a good choice of cold cuts and cereals, plus great coffee and hot chocolate.
2. Korcula Hill
Korcula Hill is a pleasant hotel with a swimming pool and is located 400 uphill from the beach. Korcula Hill offers self-catering accommodation in Korčula, 3 km from Korčula Old Town. Free Wi-Fi is provided in all areas, and free parking is available on site. The property also has tennis courts, a children’s playground, and a basketball court.
Within the complex, modern apartments have air conditioning, a kitchen equipped with a stove, a private bathroom fitted with either a bath or a shower, and a hairdryer.
3. The Fabris-Luxury Inn
The Fabris-Luxury Inn can be found in Korčula Old Town and is set in a traditional building. Parking is provided a 5-minute walk away. Breakfasts here are tasty and fresh. Rooms are comfy and come with air conditioning. There’s no pool in this hotel, but there’s a super outdoor terrace area where you can enjoy a coffee or a glass of wine or champagne.
4. Tara’s Lodge Hotel
Tara’s Lodge Hotel is a modern, stylish hotel with a beachfront position in Korčula. A highlight here is the wonderful terrace overlooking the beach, where you can enjoy a meal or a drink. Rooms are luxurious and air-conditioned.
5. Hotel Korsal
Hotel Korsal sits on the beachfront just a 5-minute walk from Korcula’s Old Town. Rooms are modern and offer air-conditioning with sea views. Breakfast is good here, and there’s Wi-Fi throughout, but there’s no pool here.
