Why Four Seasons?

Oh my goodness, there are many, many reasons to book hotels that are part of the Four Seasons brand. Of course, room rates are expensive when compared to more middle-of-the-road hotels, but the Four Seasons beats almost every other hotel chain in ambiance, immaculate communal areas, incredible service, and gorgeous rooms. They are also brilliant at catering to families in a sophisticated but caring way. Four Seasons hotels really are worth paying the extra for. Wherever you are in the world, Four Seasons hotels are reliably excellent, and they are consistently one of your best hotel options in any city or resort.

We share ten tips that will help you squeeze the most value out of your next Four Seasons hotel stay and get you the deal or discount you are looking for.

1. Why Choose Four Seasons Hotel London At Ten Trinity Square?

Set in the heart of the City, overlooking Tower Bridge and the Tower of London, Ten Trinity Square is as impressive inside as it is from the outside. This Four Seasons Hotel is located in a 1922 Grade-II listed former Port of London Authority HQ, opposite the Tower of London.

The grand lobby lies at the heart of the hotel, which hosts all-day dining and afternoon tea and drinks under a backlit art-deco style dome. Off this hall are two restaurants, Le Dame de Pic, from Michelin-starred French chef Anne-Sophie Pic and an Asian restaurant serving Chinese and Japanese food. All the communal areas of this hotel are particularly stunning and steeped in history, as you can see from the photo above.

The hotel has just 100 rooms, including 11 suites, so it is boutique in size. Executive rooms have separate living areas and can sleep a family of four, while nine Heritage suites on the ground floor boast ceilings at least five meters high.

The lower-ground floor is home to a 1,600 m² spa with eight treatment rooms, including a hammam suite, plus a 14-meter pool. The wood-paneled UN ballroom is THE event space in the city and has views over the Tower, Tower Bridge, and the Thames.

This Four Seasons hotel is probably the most highly luxurious Four Seasons in London, but in terms of location for shopping, the parks, and theatreland (Soho, etc.), the Four Seasons Hotel London At Park Lane is best.

2. Why Choose Four Seasons Hotel London At Park Lane?

Four Seasons Hotel London At Park Lane is a beautiful property in a modern building. The foyer of the Four Seasons London is decadently attired in black marble and warm burgundy reds.

The rooms are exactly what you would expect from a Four Seasons and exactly what you’d wish for from a hotel of this caliber. Beautifully finished, perfectly appointed. Your every need is catered for.

The decor in the rooms is traditional and classy, with a plush feel. Objet d’art is scattered throughout, with black and white prints of stars from the past hanging from the walls. The decor is a mix of warm golds, browns, and deep reds. The bathrooms are black shiny marble, and luxurious.

Even the plush corridors are worth a mention. Adorned with photos of glamorous stars in the vain of Marylin Munroe, they feel safe and luxurious (you need to use your room key to get the lift to take you up to the corridors and rooms). In fact, even though this isn’t a small hotel, the Four Seasons London has the feel of a large boutique hotel with just the right number of rooms and with that “just right” lighting level everywhere – you look fabulous but can still see!

Both hotels are exquisite, so it’s hard to choose between these two wonderful properties. Why not spend some time at both?

3. How To Get Free Benefits

Because both hotels are exquisite, you can’t make a bad choice. Don’t forget to also take advantage of free loyalty style benefits from your very first stay at Four Seasons hotels and resorts by merely booking with a luxury travel agent like our luxury travel concierge. It really is that easy, and the rates you pay will be the same as those on the Four Seasons website.

And Four Seasons is not alone in this luxury offering. Most luxury hotels have luxury travel agent loyalty programs that give their clients free benefits at no extra cost, as long as they book with the right partner agent. These luxury hotel brands include Hilton’s Waldorf Astoria, Hyatt, Andaz, Ritz-Carlton, Marriott, InterContinental, and more.

If you want loyalty style VIP benefits without paying more, it is worth contacting us for a free, no-obligation quote to see what you are missing. There is no cost associated with becoming a client of our luxury travel concierge.

4. Can I Get Loyalty Points & Benefits Too?

Of course, there is no Four Seasons rewards program, but if you are a regular guest of the Four Seasons or even want to try this iconic brand for the first time, you can take advantage of loyalty style benefits at Four Seasons hotels for no extra cost and from your very first stay by booking your next stay via our luxury travel concierge.

5. Check The Four Seasons Website For Special Offers

Check out the unique special offers pages for the Four Seasons hotels in London. Each individual hotel has a separate page that offers their discounts and the dates that the discounts are relevant.

Some of the best discounts offered by Four Seasons are the three nights for the price of two or the four nights for the price of three discount. Both of these discounts tend to be available outside the high season at some Four Seasons hotels, and they can save you a serious amount of money. Here are the relevant discount pages:

If you are very sure of your dates, you can sometimes take advantage of advance purchase discounted rates. You must be sure of your dates, because once you have booked in, there are no refunds on advance purchase rates, so if you can’t make your stay, you won’t get your money back!

Once you have found the offer you want, book via a luxury travel agent like our luxury travel concierge for extra benefits on your already discounted rate.

6. Book Early

Four Seasons hotels and resorts are so popular that they often sell out in the high season, which means that they don’t need to discount their rooms during these popular periods. Outside of the high season, it is possible to get discounts, and these discounts can be found on the Four Seasons website within each individual hotel’s mini-site under “offers.”

Booking in advance will not always get you a discount, but it will stop you from paying over the odds because you can book into the room you want.

7. Change Your Holiday Dates

If you can, re-arrange your dates to target your preferred Four Seasons hotels when they are cheapest and offer the best discounts. One of the most expensive Four Seasons hotels in the world is also one of the cheapest just before it closes for the winter and just before it opens in the summer. The hotel in question is the Grand Hotel Du Cap Ferrat. I have already detailed how to book a Four Seasons hotel at the cheapest rate and at the Grand Hotel Du Cap Ferrat, the discounted low season rate is perhaps discounted by as much as 70 or 80% from their high season rate. The dates you need to be looking at for the biggest discount are at the end of March and start of April and at the end of October and the start of November.

At Ten Trinity, which is located in the City, so is more predominantly a business hotel, weekends in the winter (January, February, and March) tend to have the best discounts and special offers.

8. Stay Shorter

It sounds obvious when you say it out loud, but I would prefer three nights at an expensive Four Seasons rather than a week at a bog-standard resort. Do one night at one of the Four Seasons hotels in London and take advantage of our early check-in / late check-out rather than spending two nights somewhere less exciting.

9. Use Corporate Promo Codes

There are special corporate promo discount codes, so if you are an employee of a company like Goldman Sachs, Bank Of America, IBM, or the government, you might be able to take advantage of these discounts, but these codes are not widely available to the general public. Besides, the discount may not be as good as our luxury travel concierge’s complimentary benefits. We suggest asking for a free quote so you can compare prices and benefits and get the full picture before booking.

10. Don’t Book With Your Credit Card Travel Agency

Do you want to be at the front of the queue for your free room upgrade? Book your Four Seasons stay via our luxury travel concierge, and we will put you first in line for your free upgrade. You will be placed in front of guests who book via booking services like American Express Finest Hotels & Resorts.

This is because our travel agency is an official partner of Four Seasons hotels, so room upgrades for clients that we book into Four Seasons hotels are put at the front of the queue! You can still use any credit card as payment when you book with our concierge, so you still get your usual loyalty points and rewards from your credit card when you book with us.

Note: Benefits & upgrades subject to availability. Benefits offered correct at the time of writing. Terms & conditions apply. Enquire for more information. Benefits offered correct at the time of writing but may be amended at discretion of the vendor. Posts may be sponsored by the proprietor or brand being appraised.
