Book A Hotel

We review hotels in Quebec City in Canada with the best club or executive lounges. Whether you are traveling as a couple, a family, or as a single business traveler, I conclude which hotel club lounge is best for you and has the best club lounge.

1. Fairmont Le Château Frontenac

Ideally located inside the walls of Old Quebec, the iconic Fairmont Le Château Frontenac looks like a fairytale castle and has recently undergone a multimillion-dollar renaissance project to reposition it as one of the world’s leading hotels. The restoration blends the charm of the hotel’s enchanting past with modern innovations, creating an allure that is fresh & seductive, balanced with the hotel’s rich history & dynamic future.

This hotel offers breathtaking views of the St. Lawrence River and the architecture of the Old fortified City, designated a UNESCO World Heritage Site. In any one of its 611 beautifully renovated guestrooms and suites, you’ll feel an elegant touch of historic Europe. Your experience at this landmark luxury hotel will guarantee you a memorable and inspiring stay in one of the most beautiful and walkable, cities in the world.

Fairmont Gold, their private concierge floor experience or club lounge, features exclusive amenities and highly personalized service designed to exceed the expectations of the most discerning honeymoon guest.

Unwind and swim a few laps in the indoor pool or work out in the state-of-the-art health club. With three restaurants and the Spa du Château, this world-renowned iconic hotel is the perfect base in Québec City, Canada.

2. Delta Hotels by Marriott Quebec

This Marriott Bonvoy Rewards Category 5 hotel is a short walk to Old Quebec (Vieux-Québec), where historical monuments still stand. Make time to visit Battlefields Park, the Civilisation Museum, and the National Museum of Fine Arts, along with the local crêperies and wine bars.

The hotel is next door to Quebec City Convention Center and the business district. Beyond the hotel restaurants, facilities include a fitness center and a swim all year in the outdoor pool.

The rooms here are fairly generic, but they do have a sofa along the window, which is rather nice if you can snag a high floor as the views are very good.

The Club Lounge on the 12th floor has stunning views of the surrounding city and offers breakfast, all-day soft drinks, and evening hors d’oeuvres with an honor bar, so you have to pay for your alcoholic drinks. The look is modern and rather uninteresting, but if you grab a high stool on a table facing outwards, you can enjoy the stunning views, and it is a really nice spot to sit.

As far as we know, these are the only two hotels with club lounges in Quebec City, and the quality is worlds apart. The Marriott Downtown does not have a club lounge, although premium Marriott Bonvoy members are given full breakfast in the restaurant.
