There was very sad news this week with not one but two nasty crashes.
The plane crash was a Bek Air flight Z9-2100 from Almaty to Astana, a domestic flight within Kazakhstan operated by a Fokker 100 which crashed shortly after takeoff. The crash was fatal for many onboard and the jet broke into multiple pieces.
The other crash was in beautiful Hawaii. The remains of six people who were on board this tourist helicopter when it crashed were recovered late on Friday…
At such a happy time of year, it seems even more tragic when things go wrong. But I believe it was the Queen (or maybe a version of the Queen that I saw on “The Crown”) who said, you shouldn’t think about these things too much as it will send you mad.
Very true. These terrible events are nonsensical and convince me, even more, to travel and do the things I love. Make the most of 2020 my dear readers.
