If you’re a regular reader of Luxury Travel Diary, you will know that the tiny principality of Monaco is one of my favorite destinations. Monte Carlo is glamorous, lively, and bathed in the sunshine of the French Riviera. We have reviewed all of the best hotels in Monaco and our my soul misses both Hotel Hermitage and the Monte Carlo Bay when I leave this little slice of paradise. These are some of the most wonderful hotels in the world.
If you ever travel to Monaco, even once, it’s well worth joining the relatively newly launched My Monte Carlo Loyalty Program, which gives you rewards when you spend on hotels, in their casinos, in the shops, restaurants and more, in Monaco.
It costs nothing to join, so this is very much a win-win loyalty scheme, and the benefits are fairly incredible if you reach Platinum Status.
My own points have already mounted up fairly quickly. From just one stay, I have saved 1,529 points, and when I save 9,200 My Points, I will send them on a “free” culinary adventure at the Michelin-starred Blue Bay.
This restaurant is truly fabulous, particularly in the summer when you can sit out on the terrace and watch the sun merge with the sea in an unbelievably beautiful array of purples, and that’s just the start. Chef Marcel Ravin is a culinary genius and has been awarded a star by the prestigious Michelin Guide. His food is amazing, and you can read my full overview of this restaurant in my review of the Monte Carlo Bay Hotel.
Main Benefits Of My Monte Carlo Loyalty Program
For me, the most valuable benefits, beyond getting the My Points, are the hotel benefits. You have to be a Silver, Gold, or Platinum member to collect My Points, but all members have some benefits at the hotels. It’s only Platinum Members who get ridiculous levels of luxury, so this is something worth working towards.
All members get a welcome gift when they join or get their status upgraded. The gift is 500 My Points for a Standard member, 4,000 My Points for a Silver member, Lunch for two at La Brasserie du Café de Paris for a Gold member, and Dinner for two at Le Grill (fabulous!) for a Platinum member.
All members get access to Private Sales, and everyone can share their points and status with a friend.
All members get a welcome benefit in their room – I think last time we stayed at the Monte Carlo Bay, this was apple juice, a smoothie juice, and some delicious handmade chocolate chip cookies.
Members and Silver members get free Wi-Fi for 2 devices, 3 Mb, Gold get 4 devices 5 Mb, Platinum get 5 devices at 10 Mb. This is seriously fast internet. I’ve never worked so fast!
Extra luxury Platinum benefits include:
- Free Parking (So valuable for those driving into Monaco!)
- Complimentary Breakfast In The Hotel Restaurant (when you stay, this is a really lovely benefit!)
- Early Check‑In & Late Check‑Out
- Enjoy An Upgrade On Arrival
- Limousine Transfers between Nice Airport and the Hotel
