Book A Hotel

The final touches are being added to Royal Atlantis Resort & Residences, which is on track to open its doors to the public by quarter three of 2020, according to Timothy Kelly, managing director of Atlantis Resorts & Residences.

Located on Palm Jumeirah, the $1.4 billion USD, 43-storey development, which will operate as a sister hotel to Atlantis, the Palm, will include 795 resort guest rooms and 231 residences when complete. This should be the ideal hotel for families, but if you are traveling to Dubai before mid-2020, we have investigated some of the best hotels for families in Dubai right now.

On the residence side, property prices begin at around $2 million USD, and there are 231 apartments ranging from two to five bedrooms. Many of the residences feature terraced gardens and infinity pools. Residents will have access to a private beach.

The complex will also accommodate a spa containing a “traditional hammam,” (public bath), fitness resources, and treatment rooms.

A choice of 17 restaurants on-site will include offerings from Michelin-starred chefs such as Heston Blumenthal and Jose Andres.

In the lobby, you are greeted by a 10-meter-tall sculptured feature that floats on water and is designed to emulate the first rains of Dubai each season,” said Timothy Kelly, managing director of both Atlantis hotels, when interviewed by CNN. “The lobby will (also) be home to three stunning aquariums, one of which will be the largest jellyfish tank in the world.

Located on the crescent of the Palm next to the iconic Atlantis, The Palm resort, this new generation of international luxury living will offer a sophisticated lifestyle experience encapsulated in dramatic architecture.

According to CNN, while Atlantis, The Palm offers one of the Emirate’s most spectacular and expensive suites, this sequel project could surpass the original.
