Best Time To Visit
The best time to visit is December to April, as these are the driest months. The wetter monsoon months tend to be in June/July and October/November, but there is rarely a full day of rain which means if you’re happy to curl up with a book in the sumptuous surroundings at KK and watch the short sharp downpours nourish the surrounding soil, this can be an all-year-round destination.
Location
Kahanda Kanda is just 5km from the coastal Galle Road, at the northeastern shore of Koggala Lake. From Bandaranaike International Airport, the drive will take approximately 3 ½ hours. KK Beachfront is situated nearby, just 12 km from the UNESCO World Heritage Site of Galle. If you just can’t wait to reach your exclusive retreat, it is possible to take a seaplane from Colombo to Koggala Lake, which has a journey time of around 45 minutes. From here, you can be collected in one of the hotel vehicles and escorted to your KK Collection paradise.
