Best Time To Visit

London is a busy year-round destination. The weather in the UK can be very unpredictable, no matter the season, so it’s always best to carry an umbrella. If you’re searching for hot weather, June to August would be the best time to visit, with the average temperature falling between 18°C to 30°C. Perfect for rooftop bars, music festivals, strolling through the markets, and green spaces that the city has to offer. Christmas time is also wonderful, as you get to experience the festive activities, lights, and decorations that this beautiful city has to offer. Of course, the weather will be cold with the average temperatures between 2 and 6°C, so wrap up warm!

How To Get There

If you already live in the city, the London Underground is your best form of transport. The closest stations are Tottenham Court Road, which can be reached via the Central or Northern Line, and Oxford Circus Station which can be reached via the Bakerloo, Central and Victoria Lines. If you’re traveling from abroad, London City Airport is the closest airport and lies just a 45-minute drive away from the Courthouse Hotel.

Style & Character

This contemporary design hotel is found within an old Grade II Listed Magistrates Court, retaining many of its original historical features but with a modern twist. The exterior is of a typical London building: ornate and decorative. The interior is highly decorative and modern, with polished yet comfortable furniture, and a fun and elegant décor.

The Courthouse Hotel offers a wide range of facilities to fit the needs of their guests. Relax in the gorgeous Sanook Spa, and let your senses be taken over by a blissful treatment, explore the trendy cocktail bar, and award-winning restaurants, dive deep into the fitness center, or lose yourself in the divine roof terrace with wondrous views of the London skyline. If you’re searching for comprehensive business and event facilities, the Courthouse Hotel has individually decorated and designed event spaces, that offer bespoke service with no limitations. We adore the private cinema club, seating 100 people in comfort and style, playing host to cult films from around the world, as well as product launches and screenings.

Space and luxury are the hallmark of the 5-star Courthouse Hotel London guestrooms, every one of the 116 rooms and suites is designed with stylish furnishings to provide exceptional standards of comfort. Befitting a contemporary design hotel, the bathroom interiors are sourced exclusively from Italy and feature an innovative frosted picture window between the bathroom and bedroom offering light and privacy at the same time.

Best Rooms

The Magistrates Suites occupy the high ceiling Judges quarters on the first, second, and third floors of the original building, offering West End accommodation with views of Carnaby Street and Liberty. These suites are also bedecked with original Robert Adams fireplaces and oak flooring. All rooms include everything you would expect from a luxury hotel, including controlled air conditioning, Wi-Fi, entertainment system, and minibar.

Food & Drink

The hotel’s two fabulous restaurants and bar offer delicious English buffet breakfasts, brasserie lunches, beautiful afternoon teas, and elegant dinners. The Silk restaurant is dramatically and uniquely all set in the courtroom, while The Soho Wala, our favorite place to eat at the Courthouse, offers explosive flavors of Indian street food. Head Chef Preet Tandi, focuses on using exquisite, fresh ingredients and the expansive flavorings of regional Indian culture. Guests recommend the sumptuous afternoon tea, and mouth-watering tandoor cooked chicken. And after dinner, why not enjoy a drink on the ‘Toy Roof’ rooftop bar, with its quirky teddy bear filled, glass-walled bar, and ample vibrant seating.
