Book A Hotel

Virgin Voyages is a brand new adults-only cruise line backed by Sir Richard Branson-backed. The first ship will set sail in 2020 but we have a sneak peek at some of the cabins aboard the “Scarlet Lady”

The Scarlet Lady will cruise the Caribbean stopping by Havana, Cuba, and Puerto Plata and the Dominican Republic but not Branson’s Necker Island.

93% of the cabins on board will have an ocean view and 83% will have a Sea Terrace which sports a superb hammock which is handwoven by artisans from Yellow Leaf.

The cabins have been designed “the Seabed” which folds up to a lounger, which equates to fairly small cabins that have a great deal of useable space once the bed has folded away.

All cabins will also feature mood lighting, 4K TVs, rain showerheads, and minibars. Virgin Voyages says the mood lightning is designed to show off the blue seas and amazing sunsets of the Caribbean.

The Scarlet Lady is a comparatively small ship and will launch in 2020 with 330 cabins on board along with 78 RockStar Suites.

Cabin choices will include XL Sea Terrace cabins, Sea Terrace Cabins, Sea View Cabins, Insider Cabins. Other offerings include the Solo insider cabins, designed and priced for solo travelers. There is also a Social Insider cabin, featuring a chalet-style bunk that sleeps up to four.

Booking for the 2020 season will open on Feb. 14, Valentine’s Day.
