Book A Stay

Be as dazzled by your hotel as you are the stunning city of Toronto when you stay at the striking Hotel X Toronto in Ontario, Canada.

Location

The hotel lies within the iconic Princes’ Gates in Exhibition Place in the heart of downtown Toronto. The stunning Lake Ontario waterfront position adds a definite glamour to the hotel and, of course, some seriously wow-views! You are just steps from the Enercare Centre and Beanfield Centre, BMO Field and Liberty Grand, CN Tower, Ripley’s Aquarium, Budweiser Stage, and all of the attractions in Ontario Place. To make it as easy as possible to get about, the hotel provides complimentary transportation to Union Station and to Billy Bishop Airport.

Best Time To Visit

The summer months, from June through to September, are the busiest in Toronto, so to avoid the crowds time your visit in April through May or September through October when you’ll benefit from lovely weather but a quieter experience.

How To Get There

You can fly direct to Toronto from London and most major airports across the UK. Typical flight times are around 8 hours. Direct flights from New York take an hour and a half, and from Los Angeles, you are looking at under four and a half hours.

Style & Character

This high-rise city hotel is urban and contemporary, and yet at the same time, there are massive works of art where the natural world is very much the star and when you check-in, behind, the main desk is a vast living wall. It’s a hotel of contrasts, which makes it fascinating to stay in and strangely comforting. The views are also a significant part of a stay here, of course; you take in the mesmerizing waterfront and city views wherever you go in the hotel.

Service & Facilities

The hotel is more of a resort than a hotel; the facilities just go on and on!! The star of the show is probably the epic 55m rooftop The Pond pool. The sunset views are quite something. For fitness, head to the vast 10XTO’s Primary 24/7 Gym (hotel guests have complimentary access), or there’s four indoor Tennis Courts, 9 Squash Courts, and dedicated studios for Reformer Pilates, spinning, and hot yoga. For entertainment, there’s a 250 seat Cinema and 56 seat Screening Room, the fabulous Kandy Gallery by Neil Dankoff where again you find yourself surrounded by nature, and the little ones don’t miss out either, because there’s a 3,000 sqft kids Play Centre.

They even offer a Departure Lounge with everything you need after you check out! This is the perfect example of the service provided; the staff are attentive, polished, and extremely welcoming.

Rooms

There is a huge amount of flexibility when choosing your room or suite from the 404, smoke-free, elegant spaces on offer. You can opt for two queen beds, king beds, a sofa bed, and can configure your suite for your very own custom configuration. The amenities are everything you would hope with luxury travel with a few bonuses too; think digital temperature control, a Nespresso machine, and L’Occitane bath amenities. Rooms divide into their Signature Collection (all gorgeous, many with those stunning views from the vast windows). Better still, the Library Club Collection gives you additional TLC and, importantly, access to the Library Club Lounge. Or, if budget allows, the Suite Collection includes the ultimate accommodation and access to that wonderful customizable option.

Food & Drink

Despite being surrounded by some of Toronto’s top eateries, there’s really no need to venue out if you don’t want to. Hotel X Toronto is home to 7 distinct dining destinations. There are high-end restaurants, casual cafes, and rooftop lounges; dine alfresco lake-side at Maxx’s Kitchen or head to the luxurious Lobby Bar & Lounge for specialty craft cocktails. Wherever you eat, evenings should end at Toronto’s only tri-level rooftop bar; the iconic Falcon SkyBar; THE place to be seen, with the most glorious views to accompany the appetizers, sharing plates, and signature cocktails.

We love this hotel because the facilities are nearly as staggering as the views!
Watch this space too, as things are set to improve even further, with fine dining restaurant Petros 82 opening in late 2018 and a spa opening in 2019 too!
