Maison Astor Paris is housed in a beautiful private mansion which itself is a historic landmark. The guestrooms are all apartments and they have been entirely renovated and turned into beautiful, luxurious spaces that introduce guests to the art of living ‘the French way’. There is a refined feeling of grandeur and more than a hint of art deco, particularly in the communal areas.
Service & Facilities
The service is a hugely significant part of your stay here. The staff are exceptional; attentive, gracious and very welcoming. There is a multilingual concierge service that is at your disposal 24/7 as well as complimentary Wi-Fi, paid parking and a valet service. There is also a Sport Lounge and Business Corner plus several events and workshop rooms, so the hotel is a good option if business is part of the reason for your visit.
Rooms
The 131 elegant apartments all offer luxury amenities you would expect including an HD television, Nespresso machine, courtesy tray and a handy Smartphone. It is definitely worth upgrading to an apartment with a terrace. The terraces offer wonderful views of the streets of Paris and overlook the famous Haussmann buildings right across to the Sacré Coeur and the Eiffel Tower; a stunning spot to relax with a chilled beverage and French pastry. There are also several Suites to consider; a Duplex Suite and a King Suite with a Terrace – again, personally I’m all about that terrace! The ultimate room though simply has to be the divine Rooftop Suite. Its name gives away its situation but the panoramic views from the spacious and sunny terrace have to be seen to be believed. This apartment itself is decorated with luxurious fabrics created by the prestigious Hermès House and has a private living room too.
Food & Drink
The restaurants here are as stunning as the gourmet cuisine they serve. The Dining Room, with its breathtaking glass roof, offers a blend of Parisian flavours with a nod to New York. For a lighter bite try The Club and be sure not to miss the chance to sample a signature cocktail or two uniquely created by their resident mixologist. For a lunchtime nibble, The Atelier du Chef makes delectable homemade sandwiches and because sandwiches are great all day long, they’re open 24/7!
