Our number 1 choice (pictured above) has to be the stunning Sonoran Desert Retreat in North Scottsdale. The interior is simple exquisite, the entrance hall alone rivals a five-star resort! Stylish open plan living means you have a vast living area, state of the art kitchen and dining space to make your own. Fab extras like the dining table that converts into a regulation size pool table, massive sliding doors that welcome the outside in and impressive tech makes it a really fun house to stay in. There are 4 gorgeous bedrooms and with the sofa bed too, 10 could stay here comfortably. Outdoor the real magic awaits – how does a heated freeform saltwater swimming pool and spa sound? Plus, there’s a putting green, a stunning fire pit surrounded by a cosy seating area, a built-in gas grill, an outdoor TV and even an outdoor wet bar! By day relax in the sunshine and by night, kick back with a glass of something sparkling and watch the sunset over the McDowell Mountains; heavenly. There’s even a celeb factor here – the entire home was recently professionally decorated by HGTV superstars Shaun Myrick and Kevin Bohnert! Kaanapali Beach Club Condo, Hawaii
If the idea of days in the sunshine and lazing on a beautiful beach is your idea of heaven, then in the US, it simply has to be Hawaii! This deluxe west-facing ocean front condo in Kaanapali Beach Club is perfectly located near to Lahaina which is super-accessible using the shuttle bus. There’s a huge balcony to make the most of those heavenly ocean views and it sleeps 4 – 2 in a king bedroom and 2 on a sofa bed. The beach club boasts some awesome facilities which include a huge pool, plus a separate kids’ pool, a fitness centre, a Kids Activity Zone, a restaurant and bar, water sports and laundry facilities. Prices are around £75 GBP per night which is very affordable, especially considering your location and the amenities.
Brownstone Studio, New York
For a long weekend shopping, catching shows and visiting museums, check into the Brownstone Studio apartment in Brooklyn, New York. This beautiful apartment has exposed brick and classy furnishings that makes it feel totally-New York. It can fit four but would be pretty friendly as it’s a studio apartment, it would work brilliantly for a couple with small children or for a group of friends that want to chat late into the evening. It’s a couple of blocks from a train station with a convenient connection to Manhattan and is near to several bus routes too. The area itself is fab too with lots of cafes, bars, restaurants and stores nearby. Prices are around £91 GBP per night – leaving you plenty of spare cash for those shops!
