For a beautiful, private space to call your own on the stunning Greek island of Andros, check out Heliades Villas and their collection of exclusive, independent luxury villas.

Location

Andros Island lies at the north of the Greek Cyclades archipelago, they are very accessible from Athens with ferries departing daily from Rafina Port in Athens to Gavrio Port in Andros and the journey taking under 2 hours. The villas themselves are then just a 10-minute transfer from the port, your hosts are happy to collect you if required or will help to arrange car hire. The rugged island is a trendy weekend destination for Athenians who like to try and keep it to themselves. With a rich history, elegant architecture, green inland landscapes and over 70 fabulous beautiful beaches, it’s not hard to see why.

Style & Character

The villas are elegant and luxurious and give you an instant sense of tranquillity as soon as you arrive. Traditional Cycladic architecture outside combined with marble, wood and natural stone with antiques and fine arts inside creates a cool, contemporary and achingly stylish vibe. The villas were created when the owners decided they wanted to share their love of the island and give their guests a relaxed, care-free stay at the same time. Situated in an amphitheatric estate, all three villas enjoy breathtaking views of the Aegean Sea.

Service & Facilities

All the villas have their own private swimming pools, large private landscaped gardens and everything you need for the ultimate relaxing Greek escape. You are literally minutes from the unspoiled Fellos Bay, a delightful small bay with crystal-clear waters and soft sand.

The service here really makes the villas stand out from the crowd; they are cleaned daily, as is the pool, and the sheets and towels are changed during your stay too; just to be extra-accommodating, the cleaning fits around when you’re not there. This makes it feel like you have all the benefits of staying in a five-star hotel, just with the extra privacy and freedom that taking over a villa provides. Your hosts are happy to make arrangements to give you an extra-special stay, be that a yoga class, a boat trip, scuba diving, a cookery class or even a wedding, just let them know and it will happen!

Villas

Villa Helias and Villa Etheria are both spread over three levels and can accommodate eight guests across four bedrooms. There’s a stunning internal marble paved staircase, two spacious living rooms with a fireplace and a dining area, several balconies and the master bedroom boasts a Jacuzzi bath tub. Outside sunny verandas, patios and wooden traditional-style pergolas make the space around the pool inviting and comfortable.
Villa Phivi also extends into three levels and can house up to 10 in five spacious bedrooms. There are three bathrooms and two WCs and two vast living rooms so everyone can have plenty of space from each other. The large verandas, patios and pergola dictate that you’ll want to spend most of your time outdoors soaking up the blissful Greek sunshine.

Food & Drink

The kitchens are very well-equipped but it’s the BBQ grill in the garden that will lure you to do most of your cooking here! If you want a break from cooking, and this is a holiday after-all so I’d definitely recommend it, you can arrange for a Greek gourmet meal to be cooked for you in the comfort of your villa. There’s also a lovely Taverna a short drive away if you wish to venture out.
