Book A Stay

With wellness firmly established in most people’s lives now as more than just a buzzword, many of us, particularly those with extra-hectic daily lives, are looking for wellness retreats during our down-time too. Return from holiday with more than just a tan, but refreshed, revitalised and an altogether more zen-version of yourself. The Farm at San Benito, which has been featured in Conde Nast Traveller magazine, is a luxurious centre for holistic healing and wellness based in the Philippines and promises the balancing of mind, body and spirit.

Location

The Farm at San Benito is located in Lipa City in Batangas, Philippines. Direct flights with Philippine Airlines from London to Manila Airport take under 14 hours and the transfer time to the resort is just 90 minutes.

Style & Character

So much of the wonder of being here revolves around the beautiful environment, you are literally set right in the middle of a tropical jungle on a stunning 49-hectare plot; the mountains provide a solid backdrop to your journey and the trees offer a cooling shade for calm reflection. Inside the resort is beautiful too; luxurious, soothing and elegant.

Service & Facilities

The facilities are exceptional and beautiful; meditation lounges, the Healing Sanctuary SPA, a choice of pristine pools surrounded by wooden platforms, a gym with personal trainer support and equipment which includes Cybex machines, weights and mini trampolines, and there’s even a nearby golf course that you can make use of. There is a comprehensive program of daily wellness activities available including: yoga, meditation, core training, tai-chi, power walks and food preparation. The resort is the only sanctuary of its kind in the Philippines and one of the best in the world and treatment program is unparalleled; combining the latest in nature and science based therapies from East and West. It includes medical treatments such as Acupuncture, a Body Salt Bath and Reiki, SPA treatments such as a magnificent sounding Four Hands Yin Yang Puri and a Detoxifying Treatment and Hydrotherapy. Guests can also embark on specific programs to ensure that your personal journey is appropriate to your goals; be it detoxing, weight management, or recovery from serious illness.

Rooms

There are a range of rooms and villas and all offer something different and special; choose from the Narra Pool Villas (which lie nestled on the ridge running along the stream, each features a private 3x8m swimming pool and private gardens), the Sulu Terraces (which feel like a fabulous, rustic, modern-day tree house), the Garden Glass Villas (wrapped around with glass walls and sliding doors, there’s even a glass-encased shower room) or the ultimate two-bed The Laken (ultra-luxury with walled in gardens with koi ponds, a kitchenette & bar area, maid’s quarters and a private swimming pool and relaxation bale). All rooms offer air conditioning, Wi-Fi, in-room safety deposit box, handmade bath amenities, bathrobes and slippers, complimentary pure Love and Thanks drinking water and a selection of herbal teas with a fresh seasonal fruit selection upon arrival.

Food & Drink

Mealtimes here are another wonderful opportunity to nourish your body and soul. The restaurant is called Alive! and that’s just how the food makes you feel, well, how this whole place makes you feel really. The vast majority of the food is freshly grown in the organic plantation at the resort itself and harvested daily, you really can’t get fresher food than this. The creative menu varies with the seasons but is designed to help invigorate and nurture and it’s delicious too! Some of the yummy-sounding, super-nutritional dishes include: Hawaiian Pizza, Grilled Aubergine with Ratatouille and for afters, Chocolate Pecan Cake.
