Ethiopian Airlines’ launched their new Airbus A350 XWB from London Heathrow in August 2016. Ethiopian Airlines is the first airline in Africa to take delivery of an Airbus A350.

Africa’s first A350 will provide an enhanced travel experience for every passenger with a host of new features aimed at increasing comfort and well-being. Wider seats in both Business and Economy classes, the lowest twin engine noise level, advanced air conditioning technology and full LED mood lighting all enhance comfort and reduce jet-lag after a long flight.

Ethiopian Airlines Business Class Review
The Business class cabin, ‘Cloud 9’, is outfitted with state of the art diamond fully lie-flat seats in a 2x2x2 configuration, offering superior comfort and privacy for its premium travellers. The seats are in red leather and recline fully-flat. They have in-seat power and USB charging but currently no inflight Wi-Fi. There is plenty of storage (overhead bins & under footstool).

Which Seat Is Best On Ethiopian Airlines In Business Class?
Without a doubt, the seats in the front row are the best seats on Ethiopian Airlines as there is more leg room and foot space than the rest of the seats in the cabin. See the seat plan.

The food on offer is described by most reviewers as delicious and of restaurant quality and the staff are super helpful, so this is a decent Business Class product if you get the chance to take a trip on Ethiopian.

Economy passengers will also enjoy wider and more comfortable seats with increased leg room (pictured in greed and mustard below). All seats are fitted with the latest high-definition touchscreen personal monitors and a greater selection of movies, television series and audio channels. Inflight Wi-Fi connection will be made available on this aircraft in the near future.

Ethiopian has a modern fleet including the B787, B777-300ER, B777-200LR, B777-200 Freighter, Bombardier Q-400 double cabin with an average fleet age of five years. They have ordered 14 Airbus A350 aircraft.
