Monaco is awash with wonderful luxury hotels, each with its own merits. After trying them all, I have found the best hotel room in Monaco. The room is 647 at the Hôtel Hermitage in Monte Carlo.
What makes this room so special?
Inside, the room has been sympathetically modernized. Original features include pelmets on the high ceilings and ornate Parisian Romeo and Juliette balconies.
These are complemented by thick carpeting and beautifully comfortable and matching high-end furnishings. The bathroom is uber-modern and stylish, with a jacuzzi bath, massive shower, and separate toilet cubicle.
The toiletries are a delicious scent created exclusively for the hotel. And the view… Oh, the view (see picture above). It is simply the best view in Monaco.
The fact that this room is part of the glorious Hôtel Hermitage in Monte Carlo is also a bonus, as you are centrally located, and the entire hotel is an immaculate mix of history and luxury.
Original mosaic floors are complemented by sweeping staircases. Deeply comfortable sofas are dotted about, and impressive flower arrangements cover every available surface. This place offers true glamour in Monaco, and the Hôtel Hermitage deserves its’ many awards as one of the best hotels in Monte Carlo.
Breakfast here is perfect. Rooftop dining offers everything you could possibly want, delivered by excellent staff.
There is an indoor swimming pool, spa, and fitness area available to guests, and finally, the afternoon tea is simply the best in town.
The Hôtel Hermitage in Monte Carlo is a great hotel. Room 647 is a brilliant room, perhaps only beaten by their brilliant suites… (but that’s not a room, right?).
