Lee Valley Wigwams – Lee Valley Caravan Park, Hoddesdon, Hertfordshire
One of Wigwam Holidays many picturesque settings is Lee Valley, situated on a bend in the river and surrounded by beautiful countryside it’s perfect for a break in the great outdoors. And if too much time spent with mother nature put’s you one edge, you’ll be pleased to know it’s close enough to the market towns of Hertfordshire and Essex for a little retail therapy and the bright lights of London are just 30 minutes away by train.

Facilities
The very modern and luxurious (by tent-camping standards!) Wigwams at Lee Valley Caravan Park, Dobbs Weir are state-of-the-art timber cabins set in the beautiful British countryside. Carefully crafted, with heating and electricity, they’re perfect for affordable glamping holidays with family, friends or that special someone. You can choose to stay in a Wee Brave or Big Chief Wigwam, all of which give you the comforts of home out in nature. The Wee Brave is the smallest Wigwam with a spacious sitting area that transforms into a comfortable sleeping platform for up to three people and the Big Chief Wigwams are a bit larger and sleep up to five people and are the ideal choice for family glamping holidays. Whichever Wigwam you choose, you will enjoy the benefits of: a panel heater, interior lighting, power sockets, refrigerator, kettle, BBQ’s, TV and DVD Player and outdoor picnic table (Wi-Fi is also available for a small fee). And to keep with the ‘kumbaya’ sing-song traditions, guests can hire firepits from reception for a small charge. Rates start from just £70 GBP per night for a Wee Brave Wigwam (and if you want to bring your four-legged pal along too – dogs are allowed in 1 x Wee Brave and 1 x Big Chief unit and this costs a further £5 GBP per dog per night).

In addition to the comforts of your Wigwam the Lee Valley Caravan Park also provides: washing up facilities, washing machines, tumble dryers, washing lines, toilets and shower facilities, a supplies shop and a children’s play area. And if you fancy a night away from the stove there is a licenced bar and restaurant less than 2 minutes’ walk away.

Activities
As well as the many walks and acres of countryside for you to discover there is plenty to do in the area. Why not get your adrenaline pumping with some white water rafting at the Lee Valley White Water Centre or for some all-round family fun why not visit Lee Valley Park Farms with everything from farm yard friends to mischievous Meerkats!
