Delta Air Lines has just launched flights from London Heathrow to Portland, Oregon (yesterday) and is the only airline to fly non-stop between Britain and Portland.
This service will open up a new non-stop destination for British travelers in the United States’ North West. The airline will fly this route four times a week on Mondays, Wednesdays, Fridays, and Saturdays throughout the summer season.
Why should you care? There are some incredible beaches and National Parks to visit around Portland, which we have detailed in our amazing weekend getaways from Portland. This region is hugely underrated and offers some of the best sunsets in the world.
